It works.

This stuff really does seem to adhere to almost anything and comes off cleanly. Be advised though that the adhesive is so strong that I’m pretty sure it could take paint off of surfaces like walls and furniture. If you’re planning on using this stuff on a surface and you’re not sure how the surface itself is going to endure, then do the old “test-on-an-area-that-doesn’t-show” thing and make sure. Regardless, I wish I had known about gaffers tape years ago. It’s a great solution for many temporary fixes and fit-ups that require strong and reliable adhesion without having messy sticky residue left behind.

Bought if for a specific need - but place to use it everywhere

Purchased the tape for a specific need, I have a motorcycle stand that when it touches the floor if leaves bad marks all over the floor and the stand. i have added some soft material in between but had no tools to wrap it with. Bought this take as you can see for the job - and i might say well done. easy to work, you can tear it with your hand when not taped - but once it taped it stays there. overall - like the product for the price.

You’re getting your moneys worth!

I bought this tape specifically to secure some exposed long cords, after the mounting tape I had previously gotten was starting to come undone. I realized I have a Digital Media background and completely forgot about gaffers tape! I’m glad I went with this instead of the duct tape! The tear off was very seamless and the adhesive bond on this tape is fantastic! I even redid a couple areas, and the tape had no problem lifting off, and left no residue behind, which is one of the positives of using gaffers tape. I accidentally bumped into one of the connecting wires and at most the tape just peeled less than two inches from the wall. If I still had the mounting tape on that, no doubt I would have undid the entire mount. The price is also a good deal for this. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the audio / video field that’s looking for something to secure down exposed wires. Don’t use duct tape! Use gaffers tape. It leaves no residue and bonds better!

Did the job!

I actually used this product to tape my boobs so that I could wear a gorgeous dress that I bought. The dress was really low cut and I couldn't find any bra that would work with it so I turned to the internet and read that gaff tape was the best thing for the job. It worked super well, didn't leave a gross residue, didn't irritate my skin, had good support- just great overall!

Sturdy stuff!

I bought the white gaffer tape to repair the already-shot interior step cover on my RV (it's a 2015 - thanks, Forest River) and eliminate a trip hazard until the replacement part arrives. It held up nicely to the first camping trip and adds visibility to help the dogs rate the steps going in & out of the unit when it's dark. Even after I install the replacement step cover, I may use a bit of this tape just to protect the (obviously inferior) OEM cover as well as for the visibility factor. This is a VERY good product.

Finally a great one

After trying 3 brands of gaffer tape (!) that were not thick and strong enough, i am happy to say I've finally found my go-to gaffer tape brand. This thing is amazing. Thick, strong adhesive, rips with hands easily, great price. Great product overall

Indeed premium

Bought this tape to patch outdoor furniture covers. Few days after, in NE snow storm, a week later few inches of rain and the tape does its job flawlessly, no leaks, strong bond, easy to tear to pieces with need for scissors. Great !

Love the durability of this tape

I love that this tape is so durable! It worked well on a leak I had (past tense!!) on my hose outside. It's also versatile, I used it on several electronics at home too, like camera equipment, taping down cords and fixing a cracked chair- granted, I had to paint over that one. And there's still so much left. Great price for the amount you get. Definitely recommend this.

Works well and the price is right

My husband has a business that uses A LOT of gaffers tape. We've tried most of the well-priced ones on Amazon. This gaffers tape is great. It sticks well, and tears very easily, and, most-importantly, does not leave sticky marks on the floor/equipment. The price is right, and we'll buy it again.

Gaffer tape -- what you should use instead of duct tape

For some many simple tasks, when you would normally think "duct tape," you should be thinking gaffer tape. Why? Because gaffer tape is as adhesive as duct tape but it can be easily removed without leaving a residue. This brand is exception in quality. I use gaffer tape in this way -- take an expired credit card, start wrapping the tape around it lengthwise until you have several yards of it wound on the card.
