Bright and beautiful

I was going to put up LED "ballast" lighting from Costco but when I saw that these would fit into my existing sockets in the garage I was willing to give it a shot versus re-wiring for an outlet. Tested them the day they arrived and it is a world of difference from the standard halogen and the standard LED bulbs I tried before these - worthwhile purchase thus far.

How did I ever live without this?

Maybe it's just the home improvement kick I'm on. Maybe it's spring. Or maybe it's really some of the great Amazon products I have recently bought. I am a heavy buyer of Amazon products, and I don't write many reviews because it would be too time-consuming. But I have gone out of my way to say that I LOVE this LED automatic garage light. I have NEVER before had such a bright light, and now I do. I have NEVER before had something automatic, and now I do. I can't believe I went so many years without this. I can't imagine going back to the old way of remembering to leave the light on for the wife when she is going to come home late. Or I'm going to be late. Or, having to remember to shut if off when leaving. Honestly, I wish I had more areas of my home (besides the garage) to use this. Just one tip: "On" is for the motion detector, which I use. "Off" is for the light to be on whenever the garage's switch is on - but why would one do that? Great product. And no, I was not asked to write this, I don't get a penny from it, and I am glad to recommend it.

Very good and very bright garage light with motion sensors Wow is this thing bright! My only complaint is that it turns off a little sooner (but not horrible) than I would like. It would be nice if you could set a duration (e.g. short, medium, long) for auto-shutoff.

Tough and versatile upgrade to the garage.

This LED ceiling light is bright! This design is flexible. My garage/workshop is too dark to do anything afterwork in the winter. I bought a and full of these lights to brighten up the fixtures with regular 9watt (75w equiv) led bulbs. Now, I can see what I am doing. They do not get very hot. So I put one in a clip on fixture that I use as a trouble light. It makes working under the car much easier.

Very bright. Used 3 of them for 1200 sf garage replacing 6 8ft dual florescent tubes. Could not be happier with about 70% power use.

Quality LED Motion Detector, Using it in Garage

Excellent purchase. Our current garage door opener has one bulb and really does not light up much in the garage when it turns on. This light illuminates the entire garage! Very bright, very white LED panels (movable) instantly light up upon sensing any motion. Perfect!

Made a huge difference in my garage

I have a two-car garage with the standard 60W light bulb on each side. The ceiling is about 12' and the standard bulbs have been barely adequate. Each door also has an automatic door opener containing two light bulbs in each and even with all these standard bulbs on, my garage was still very dim. They install as easy as a standard bulb. I purchased the 60W standard (non-motion) version and the difference is like night and day (pun intended). It makes an incredible difference and now I can actually see into all the corners of my garage and it also makes a big difference when doing work in the garage. The ability to angle the light gives you a lot of control and helps get the light where I need it to be. I wish I would have known about these years ago. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to better light up a dark garage or similar space.
