Great as baby’s first food

We’ve been feeding our five month old this barley cereal once a day. He really seems to love it. It’s very easy to prepare and the consistency is such that I don’t feel concerned when feeding it to my baby. I also love that it is organic, because I know that I’m giving him healthy and wholesome ingredients.

Good hot or cold!

She loves it. The cereal mixes well with formula, juice, water and basically any liquid you would feed your baby.

Baby loves it! No constipation, no allergies!

I should say that my baby really loves this cereal! He is not the type that would eat everything, but would finish this cereal every time. This was one of the first cereal that I’ve tried. I didn’t want to start with rice because of the possible constipation. Or oatmeal because of the possible allergies, so barley was the way to go! And I am glad I found it! Quinoa and buckwheat were my other choices, but I wasn’t able to find a good buckwheat cereal yet, so I make it myself. Overall I am very happy with this cereal and would recommend it!

Cost is twice as much on amazon than other websites but good product.

Good baby food

My baby loves this brand. I prefer the bags over other brands that come in the box with a pour spout, it is easier to measure out this way.

Quality brand

Soft cereal that blends well hot or cold. This brand has been around for a while and we used to use the arrowroot teething biscuits 30 years ago that are still available to buy. Seems like a quality brand. I made some for my 3 year old grandaughter to try. I made it with half water and half milk as the liquid and she really liked it, like a smoother version of cream of wheat. It taste good plain but we also tried it with a bit of maple syrup on it and it was good. Perfect first food for babies.

Great taste with no added sugar or salt

Mothers often taste baby food before buying, as they should, but often feel the taste is too bland -- sugar and salt are often added to please the adult, whereas the child might well be perfectly happy with blandness. I was curious about this product only because there is a remote possibility I may have a second grandchild, and I wanted to try this Vine offered product.
