I just got my desk mat today. It is very high quality and came shipped flat. I read reviews that said for other ones they had a terrible smell? Some are sent rolled up and you have to WORK to get it to lay down. I looked at one that was $10 less,but had all those other issues. I was so happy I spent $10 more dollars it is worth all that and more. This mat had a 4+ star review don't try save a few dollars order THIS chair mat.

Better than all I've come across for most carpeting thicker than 1/2"

It's been QUITE SOME TIME since studded chair mats are actually studs that GRAB, meaning they are not round knubs. This chair mat meets my requirements -3/4" rug, 250lb tall, moves & turns a lot, gets up and down a lot. Since the chair wheels sink in mat it is prudent on one's part to add a FLAT chair mat on top of this studded mat. Constantly rolling around on a chair mat that gives because of a thick/plush rug will eventually cause the mat to stretch where the wheels roll and then cracking begins and then within a month you've got a big problem. So, THIS MAT IS QUALITY, THICK ENOUGH, HAS POINTED STUDS THAT GRAB AND KEEP MAT FROM MOVING ON RUG. ADD A FLAT CHAIR MAT ON TOP OF IT AND YOU'LL BE SITTING NICELY FOR YEARS!

Corners stay down

I was very skeptical of getting an office mat because my carpet is very plush and thick. I just knew that getting a mat, it would break or crack. However, I’ve had this mat for about 2 or 3 weeks now and it hasn’t broken or cracked! I sit in my chair for hours at a time and it seems to be holding up very well. The corners aren’t lifting up, and even tho the chair leaves indintations, it glides smoothly over the mat.
