What a great product!

Love this little device. Though it took me a few tries to set time date and change Kpa to mmHg, it was not the fault of the very good directions, but rather my own tech anxiety. I love the music as the cuff inflates, I can actually feel the tension leave my shoulders. I'm also appreciative of the averaging feature, and the WHO review at the end of each test. All in all, I'd recommend this product to anyone, and in fact a neighbor who I did a "show and tell" for, has ordered one for herself.

Very precise, would recommend!

This product works fantastic!! It is very sensitive and if anything is even a little off it will read an error. This seems annoying at first, but the error key helps you identify what the issue is right away and this feature prevents the device from ever giving an inaccurate reading. I'd much rather the device was a bit overly cautious than inaccurate.

Well Worth The Investment

I am impressed. As an RN, I am painfully aware at how important accuracy is, especially with monitoring the blood pressure. I have the Paramed Digital Wrist BP/P and purchased the Upper Arm to check and monitor BP accuracy for my Physician’s peace of mind with my “home” readings. Both items are well worth the purchase if you’re looking for ease and accuracy.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED

Had to buy a new BP monitor after my old pump up monitor decided to retire. Did a lot of research on a lot of different models. I read enough to know that arm cuffs were more accurate than wrist cuffs. Most of them had similar features. And most of them had fairly high ratings. My #1 criteria was accuracy. When I research a product I always look at the most negative ratings first. I found that although many of the BP monitors had overall high ratings, many/most of them had many negative ratings concerning accuracy. This model had the fewest complaints about accuracy. After a week with this monitor, I can say that I am completely satisfied with its capabilities and performance. It registers in the same range as my doctors' measurements. And the measurements have been within 5 (systolic) points of each other. (My former monitor had as much as a 15-20 point spread). It is fast. It is accurate. And it is very easy to use. According to the instructions, it stores one's last 120 measurements and can keep track of the measurements for two people. A feature that I really like is that one can not only go into memory and get every one of the previous measurements with dates and times of each, but it can also average all of the previous measurements. The one negative I have about this monitor is the instructions. They are not very clear. And it took a while for me to figure out how to use some of the features. But once I did, I don't believe I could have found a monitor more complete than this one.

Owning a BP monitor is essential. This was an excellent purchase for me and my family.

I have found myself in the situation that I must monitor my blood pressure. It was definitely a surprising wake up call. After researching blood pressure monitoring kits I chose to go with Paramed. I was concerned about the accuracy of the product so while I was at work I had my blood pressure taken. Upon receiving my Paramed blood pressure monitor and took my blood pressure at home and was amazed with the results. I found your product to be very easy to use. The settings are easy, the voice response is great and the digital reading is excellent for me because of the large font.

Accurate, convenient, and easy to use - from a Coronary ICU nurse

I am a coronary ICU nurse with a family history of hypertension (high blood pressure) and I purchased this BP monitor to check mine own at home! It’s always smart to be ahead of the game with your health. So, far this home BP checker has been phenomenal. I got it today and it seems pretty consistent and accurate. I checked my BP and my husband’s and the results are very similar as my previous. I also really enjoy the lady who speaks during the process and the soothing music it plays while it’s checking your pressure. It’s very easy to user friendly and the directions are pretty straight forward. So far, I highly recommend!

Super cool features!

This thing is AWESOME! I'm not sure how to upload the video I took, but if I figure it out I will add to this review. It talks to you ... Plays music while monitoring and then tells you your blood pressure. It also tells you if it is normal, etc (which is great as I am always clueless about the numbers)
