I should have read more clear that this is the new base that needs the ipad case. It works just fine and is great but it does not hold an ipad without the OSMO case in very well. Just FYI!!

I purchased the new base for my 6 year old so that he can play Osmo at the same time as his sister and it's working great. Love that it feels stable and sturdy and that we can use it as an iPad stand too!

I previously gifted osmo games to young relatives, and they had fun with them for a while, eventually petering out a bit quicker than expected. As my kids have come to the osmo age range and have experience using it at school, they had it on their christmas wish list. We ordered an osmo starter set (base with a game) and several other games. With two kids, we needed another base and was happy they sold it separately as there wasn't another starter kit that made sense. We're three months in and my kids still love the osmo games, which is honestly longer than I thought they'd last. I thought the pizza parlor game would have the most re-play interest, but it's actually been the coding games that have held their interest the longest - coding awbie and coding duo

Works great, I mistakenly ordered the iPhone one and sent back to get the one for the iPad , we received it within a couple days even before my rerun had been processed!

My daughter has become an artist, Osmo has replaced a good majority of her screen time on YouTube as a parent I’m pleased. I’ve spent time watching her play and it’s heartwarming to see the light in her eyes when she creates something on the page and Osmo mirrors it into the camera where it appears on her screen, PRICELESS. It constantly reminds them to clean up the page before moving on. She’s adamant about cleaning after every picture now.

If you are a teacher working remotely, this is a great tool to use with an iPad (I use an iPad mini 3). If you use OSMO with the iPad, you can screen record your written lesson. I use this for teaching pre calculus and algebra 1. Makes it easy for students to see and hear instruction without having to show your face (or your pajamas!) Can also use with Zoom and Google Meet.

I use this with the kids app Camera Lucinda to draw pictures works great

Didn’t work for what I want but it must be good for children

This is cool , I love the products but I feel like this should be cheaper . My daughter still enjoys it

Like it but thought it was pricey.
