Fully Assembled, Works Great Out of the Box. Great Support from Scotts.

Unfolded the handle, dumped in 40 pounds of pelletized lime, spreader worked like a charm. Getting one at half price through a warehouse deal also a plus. I actually prefer the mostly plastic construction, as it’s easier to just hose off and hang on the wall, fairly light, and no worries about rust. Although not listed, Scott’s guarantees this spreader for as long as you own it. Check their website for details. Update: one wheel had a small missing piece in the tread, probably from being bounced during shipping. I emailed Scotts and received a reply the next day letting me know they were shipping out a replacement wheel. Very pleased with the quick response.

Awesome {Even Rock Salt}

I bought this spreader in July, and it did what I asked it to do with no issues at all. Now its January and I have used it twice now with Rock Salt {the same they use for the Roads} for my Driveway. I was very hesitant with the Salt part, so I tested it out with just a little, It did great. Then I filled the hopper 1/2 way, with the chute open 3/4 mind you and it has worked flawlessly so far. Even if it broke right now it has paid for itself and then some. I would definetly purchase another one.

Great Quality Spreader

This is a top quality product. Yes, you can get a spreader for less money, but it won't be of this quality. It's very well balanced and easy to push. Also, it's easy to fill. Clean up is also a breeze. I know I'll get years of service from this. Since I use mostly Scott's products on my lawn I wanted a Scott's spreader so there wouldn't be a problem in figuring out application amounts. I would highly recommend this spreader.

Better than the previous Scotts Drop Spreader

This is a great spreader. Its much larger than the previous Scotts Drop Spreader that I had and due to the increased size I was able to reduce the amount of time in the yard by a fair amount. Well worth the price. Love it.

This thing is big but not too big.

Took less than 60 sec to unpack and install both wheels. Very sturdy, very nice. U can do everybody's lawn with this one! I used it last night, it spreads seed and or fertilizer very nice. I used it with that Black Beauty Grass Seed here on Amazon. It worked flawlessly. I couldn't get over the amount and pattern it was throwing. VERY NICE.. I saw a few neighbors watching, probably saying to themselves, I wish I had that. hahaha

Ok i read the reviews and saw the only negative reviews on here were from how the wheels collect whatever your spreading.. so I read a review from one lady putting a baking tin on the wheels, I saw the pics, so I once upped her, used the cardboard that this came in, nothing but a marker, snips, and pulling the wheels off.. works perfect.

Makes the Job Easier

I am very pleased and so is my gardener. He was operating with a handheld one that I don't think fully took care of my lawn properly giving the amount of fertilizer I needed on it. My yard is not small. So, I purchased this myself to make sure that I am getting the service that I need and want. This made the job go so much faster for him because it holds so much fertilizer. He did not look stress or near a heatstroke after completing the job. He needs one but I am keep this for myself. I would have no problem doing the job myself with this product. Too easy!

Great and accurate spreader!

NIce, bigger and better than my original drop spreader. Seems to hold a lot more and has arrows in the plastic, so that all you do is line up the arrows in the green plastic with the wheel marks you just made in the grass and you don't miss or overlap - perfect results every time.
