So far so good.

I just got my battery for 3 weeks . So far it seems very good. I was thinking to change my Mac Book because battery life was 1-2 hours without cable. And I decided to try change battery (price for computer is times higher). Installation was very easy besides of screwdrivers which broken before I finished my work (after one set of screws . I was lucky to have same screwdriver at home. Otherwise , I am satisfied. I don't know how long this battery will be able to hold a charge but I will comment later for that.

Easy to install, Longer life and Low cost

My son has abused his Mac for years and the battery that was in it was running down super quick, but we were not ready to drop another $1k+ on a new one just yet, so this battery replacement was a great option. My husband was able to put it in in less than 40 minutes - and that was watching a couple of videos and being super careful - and it works like a charm. It fits perfect, certainly lasts significantly longer than it was and no problems at all with it being compatible. My husband is handy, and patient, and he said it was not that complicated, but watch a video or two first to see what you're getting into.

I am very happy to have chosen this product for my Mac Book Air. I selected this package because the tools were included and they are specific, I did not have them. You will also find the screws and the 4 pads. The replacement is very easy it took me about 10min and after just 5 days the battery works perfectly.

Glad I chose this over going to Apple

I have a MacBook Air 2011; the original battery barely lasted 40 minutes. I chose this battery because of Japan electric core, Cobalt content and # of cycles - not sure if this is marketing jargon but assuming it is correct. Got the battery the next day as I ordered after-hours. Installation was a breeze with the included screwdrivers and instructions. Did not have to use included screws or pads. Showed 1 cycle which is great. mAh rating was 7,400 instead of the rated 7,200. Overall I am glad I chose this and did it myself over having Apple to do it - no appointments, no waiting. 2 minutes to order and about 10 minutes to install. Will know how many cycles this battery will last so will update this review later. Very important: First drain the new battery after installation, then charge it fully, let it drain again. Do this a couple of times and the battery will last as it should. I got 9 hours with only safari running and screen at 50% brightness on my MacBook Air 2011. Paid full price on Amazon; this review is not for any free product received.

Replaced original battery in my 13" mid-2013 Macbook Air, works perfectly, will update

I spilled water across my macbook's keyboard and after letting it dry out, the only thing wrong with it was that the OEM battery was completely shot. I took it to the apple store and they said there was nothing they could do. I did a good amount of research and there were only 3 providers on Amazon that I considered and ended up going with this seller due to the the recent posting and detailed battery specs. It took less than 30 minutes to install. There were no issues. I think I read a complaint about the screwdrivers provided, but I had no problems removing the screws with them. Just take your time and make sure to use to correct size or you will strip the screws. New screws and pads are also provided, but I didn't need them. (I took the opportunity to clean the area VERY carefully). I read that it is best to fully charge the battery and let it remain charging at 100% for at least 2 hours and then drain the battery with a movie or something and then let it cool down for 5 hours. Repeat. This helps calibrate the battery and maximize its capacity. The process worked for me. It has been a couple days and my MacBook is reporting that the battery has a Full Charge Capacity (mAh) of 7392, which is nearly 200 mAh more than reported by the seller. A pleasant surprise. My laptop was running very slow and now its back to normal, but that may have been because my battery was completely shot before swapping it out with this one. I will update in a few months to report on its durability, but as of now I would recommend this product.

Easy DIY, Saved money, Like New!

I used this battery as a replacement in my Mac Air. Chose this vendor for best warranty as most others aspects were common to most vendors. Watched several You Tube videos, then did the replacement on the kitchen table with the tools which came with the battery. The tools worked just fine. Replacement was super easy, less than 15 minuets. The computer did not complete boot on first start up, so I placed it on charge for several hours, (this type of incident was mentioned in some of the You Tube videos so no worries), then computer booted and worked fine. The battery profile automatically posted in System Report with the correct ID and capacity levels. Its more than a month later and the replacement battery is working as good as the original when it was new. I am using this same computer to compose and place this review.

product came on time. super easy to replace. came with all necessary tools and the extra screws and plastic protectors were a much needed bonus as I was missing two protector and one screw. I have had my mac book for over 9 years and it started getting really slow and lagging badly. once I replaced the battery it was like having a brand new computer all over again! I have had the battery for a couple weeks now and it works perfectly. so far, I'm very satisfied.

fantastic battery!

I admit that I do not like to waste time writing reviews but this one I could not convince myself not to! my old MacBook Air was about to be put aside for good due to slowness and the malfunctioning battery. So I decided to gamble with this battery to see if I could win! And I did. Wow, my computer is so much faster and more powerful and the battery life is like new. I really recommend this battery. it was easy to install and gave my computer and me a new life!!

Doesn't Work. *Updated

Installation was a breeze. Let it charge to full and can literally watch the battery life percentage drop. Will be returning ASAP. Extremely disappointed. Edited: I was contacted by the seller and sent a new battery, which works! I am happy to report that this company does stand behind their products.

R.I.P

The battery in my Macbook Air died after 5 years of hard work. I picked this model due to the warranty, and extra parts, I'm glad I did because at 30% charge it charged to 100% is less than a hour. iI might not be the cheapest replacement battery in the group but so far I'm impressed. Very simple to install if you've worked on Macbooks before. The extra screws come in handy if you drop one, and the screw drivers are the correct sizes. Well worth the extra price. Cheers
