Not just a splashmat very versatile

Not just a food/high chair mat! My mom once said she used to put a tarp under my sister and I when we were eating in the high chair and I thought she was crazy until I had my own kids. This is a great idea!!!! Good for every meal or just the messy ones. It’s plenty big, but not excessive. But what I like the best is the grip. It has the sticky like a bathroom rug or grippy slippers. It’s not super thick so it can be washed with other stuff and not take up too much room in the washer. Maybe the space in your washer like a large towel. It is made of good material keeping your floors/surfaces clean and allowing you to do a quick wipe off and use again without fully washing. But my favorite part of what I realized is this will be great for arts and crafts activities as well as picnics. Use it to cover your table so the markers or paints don’t get all over or use it for a play mat at the park. It’s way easier to wash then a blanket or picnic mat. Totally worth it!!!

Fulfills Its Splat Mat Duties

I love this thing! I was getting so sick of sweeping 3x a day under my 1 year old’s highchair. And food was getting stuck to my floors and becoming so difficult to clean (even with my constant sweeping). I got this splat mat and one by a different brand, and I think I prefer this one. First off, I specifically wanted one that is machine washable. (Which is why I got 2 mats, so I still have one to use while the other is in the wash) It washes up great and I dried it using ultra low or air dry feature on my dryer. My daughter always throws her sippy cups and the mat kept the floor below dry. I like the rubber grips as I have it folded up to protect my baseboards. I also like the size of this mat. Once I no longer need it under the table, I could see myself using it for traveling. Would definitely recommend!

Looks Great

So I want to start off by saying that this mat looks amazing in person. The colors are extremely vibrant and the pictures are well done. I did not notice any weird or strong smells coming off of the mat, so that was great. I will have to update the review, however, after I get a chance to wash it to see how it holds up. I am wondering if the colors are going to remain as vibrant. No spills yet, so I will also have to update on the liquid resitance as well as how easy or hard it is to spot clean. Update October 25, 2019: So I have had this mat for 10 months and it has held up well. It looks just as vibrant as it did when it arrived. I have washed it numerous time on a regular and gentle cycle with warm water and my usual arm and hammer laundry detergent. I have also used bleach in the cycle a couple of times due to what was spilled. Either way, it has always come back out nicely. I do not let it air dry because, well, don’t have time since I try to get it back in its rightful place as soon as possible. I usually dry it on medium heat in my dryer. Has not shrunk or anything and no noticeable tears or signs of wear. Update July 8, 2020: My mat is still holding up well. It’s been washed a lot and still looks as vibrant. I’m planning on buying it again so hopefully I get the same quality as the first time.

Great Mat for Under Highchair

This mat came at the perfect time for my little food thrower!! It works perfectly to catch any food he tosses over the ledge of his highchair. We also lay it out in the living room when he's having a snack, and it somehow encourages him to stay in one place while eating!! The print is cute, and the non-slip backing has worked perfectly on our wood and tile floors. Overall very satisfied and excited to just throw this in the wash instead of scraping food off my floors after every meal!!

Very versatile mat for kids

I got this mat for my granddaughter because her high chair sits on a hard wood floor -- and it gets very messy with baby food. Well we had no idea my granddaughter would LOVE this mat and want to take it into other areas of the house. She loves the primary colors and animals and gathers her toys on the mat when it's not used during meal time. It's very easy to clean and doubles well as a play area mat. I'm very happy I bought this. Price was very reasonable for all the use and joy we have gotten from it. Thank you!

Great size and well-made!

This is great! The mat is bigger then what I expected. It is a wonderful size for catching all of the food a 1 year old drops accidentally and on purpose! When it arrived I was watching my grandson, so we opened it up. It was so bright and colorful that he wanted to sit on it and play! He was enjoying touching all the brightly colored animals. It is big enough for two adults and a little one, so I can see why some people would use these as a mat for the park. It is heavyweight, well made and non-slip. That of course, is a very important feature with a little one. 🙂

What an great concept!!

This splat Mat is more than I could have expected! When first opening it has a funny smell(like silly string) that is most likely the materials the are on the underside of the mat. Once it’s been unwrapped for a few minutes the smell is gone. It looks to be very durable and well made. The top side has a slight texture on it, while the underside has some not slip like bubbles. The design/print is very bring colors and looks great! This mat will be great for not only under high chair for messy meals, but also as a play mat! Looks to be easy to clean/wipe off. Can’t wait for my little one to use this product! I do recommend this product for anyone with children

Cute animals cover for little kids

Love this cover! I bought my old plastic one at ToysRUs and no longer to find it anyway. So, I looked for a new one with wild animals which my little one loves! He loves all the cute animals! And most importantly, the cover “saved” my dining table carpet several times! It’s quite interesting that the cover feels like fabric, but the liquid is not getting soaked (I usually clean it right the way when spills). The side has some plastic dots that intently to stay on the place. However, it’s not working that well on my carpet/ wooden floor. Overall, it’s a great cover! Works well for us!

Fantastic! Great size, non slip!

This is a great splat mat! Not too big not too small. I wasn’t sure about the non slip feature and I’d it would really be non slip. But we have wood floors and it’s not an issue at all! The material is great also. I wasn’t sure what to expect as it’s my first one but it’s more like PUL material, and not something plastic like. I got the gray pattern and it’s perfect!

Good for messy baby

This is nice and thick and a good size to contain messes from a baby that loves to drop and throw food. The colors are very vibrant, the material stays in place for the most part (used on carpet, haven’t tried on hard surface flooring). It washes well and continues to hold its shape and coloring. Wipes of easily if you get to it right away. If purée foods dry on it it is just better to stick it in the wash. Still easier than trying to keep floors clean without it. Would definitely recommend.
