I purchased these for my grandson. He is 3 1/2 years old and would hold his pencil with his whole hand. With these pencil grips he was able to correctly hold his pencil and wrote his first letters on his own immediately! I will continue to work with him and I'm sure he will be writing on his own without the grips in time. I recommend these grips for toddlers or even older children who don't hold their pencils correctly.

Good quality and cute!

These are good quality and work well in fitting any size pencil. Nine and 7 year old granddaughters are using it to improve their penmanship. They love that these are owls.

Awesome Pencil Grip!

These things are such an upgrade from the basic ones and my 4 year old loves them. She was able to grip it without issue and helps her have a steady, firmer hand when writing. They are also super cute! Comes in a pack of three, one multi colored, one pink, one blue. Great buy!

Fun and easy to use

I have a 12 year old that seamed to still be having trouble with finger position. I have tried and tried and fought with him to no avail. I gave in and bought these fun butterflies, with in just a few mins he was holding the pencil correctly. He said it just made it feel easier and he sees why I kept telling him it would make a real difference when he finely got the position correct. I have a happy boy and he is no longer fighting with his pencil!

Finally, a pencil grip that worked for our daughter!

this review is for the butteryfly pencil grip model I have a 5 year old that has struggled with her pencil grip over the past two years, developing some bad habits. We've tried a lot of traditional tools like triangle grips and newer ones like finger 'claw' grips or molded putty grips. none of them had any success I don't know how I came across this product, but I sort of halfheartedly purchased it. IT WORKED from the first day. More specifically, the butterfly grip worked immediately from the first time she used it, and I didn't even help to position her fingers on it. We will be using this from this point forward to see if it helps to create the correct 'muscle memory' going forward.
