It is a little on the heavy side, but it's not overwhelmingly so. And it's 1/3 the price of the high-end bikes, so I was surprised at the good quality of it otherwise. I wish it didn't have the pedal brakes but that's my only design complaint.

I had trouble with assembly (didn’t have the needed wrench and part of the packaging was very difficult to remove), but my son loves it! It’s very sturdy.

Our son is special needs and has a hard time with learning to ride a bicycle. We researched and came upon this bicycle. As soon as I put it together, our son was peddling away down the road. It has made him more confident in riding and pedaling. The design of the bike makes it easier for him to peddle and keep his balance. He even is using the hand brakes. As a parent of a special needs son, seeing him riding a bicycle with the other kids in the neighborhood was the best!!

Got this for my 6 year old son after he outgrew his 14 inch bike. He loves it, it fits him perfectly and he looks comfortable riding it. We bought some training wheels off of Amazon to install on it, since he's not quite ready for without. It worked great.

The reflector fell of the first day. Rather annoying. It just fell right out of the plastic square that was holding it. I could glue it, but I shouldn’t have to. I intend to call and ask for a replacement reflector. Otherwise the bike is great.

This is a sturdy bike. I bought my sons first bike at walmart and he couldnt pedal it, he would only ride on his tricycle. I bought this for his dbay and he took off. He loves it. It was easy for him to pedal, steer and control. It is light enough for him to pick up.

Number plate looked cheap and creased so I removed it. Pretty easy assembly. For some reason I was under the impression the 18” with training wheels did not come with kick stand, but it does. I purchased an 18” for my 4 year old for his 5th birthday. He’s pretty tall at 44 1/2” so I figured the 18” would be a good size for him to grow into. The bike is smaller than I expected but he’ll be able to ride it comfortably. I hope it brings my son a lot of happiness for the next couple of years.

Great little bike for the price point can't beat it! The packaging of the bike was absolutely fantastic couldn't be happier. The front sprocket was slightly bent due to shipping. No problem getting through customer service and they are shipping a new front sprocket to me (UPS). Customer service fantastic. Really can't go wrong with this bike.

Bought it for 3 yr old who is small for his age and it sat there until the 5 year old hopped on and took off. Balance bike would have been a better choice for 3 yr old.

I bought the red version from Amazon Warehouse (Like New). The box had been opened before but the bike was not put together before. The number plate was missing a screw and the sticker on the front was scratched and ripped. Not a huge deal. The bike went together easily however some things needed adjusted. The steering tube had a notchy feeling so I backed off the top nut a half turn and that fixed the issue. The chain and rear wheel (pre-assembled) were also very tight but I was able to loosen that up a bit. The rest of the assembly was simple and I didn't need the manual (it's a bicycle, not a rocket engine). As for the ergonomics and the SmartStart system, I think it's fantastic. This bicycle looks like it was made for a child's body. It's not all scrunched up like most children's bikes and the proportions are perfect for my son. Really impressed. My son is 42" tall and has an inseam of ~17 inches. The 14" bike is perfect for him AND he has room to grow. He's able to put his tippy toes down which gives him confidence and he still has enough room to comfortable pedal. VERY happy with the purchase. This is the perfect child's pedal bike and the price is likely the best on the market. HIGHLY recommended.
