This water filter is a first time replacement in my 6 month old refrigerator. I am extremely pleased with the taste of the water.

Great taste!

Works as it should. Just be sure to follow the directions and flush it like the directions say before using it. I noticed it put out greyish black water for a short period when I first applied water through it which is probably carbon filter media, but after a couple of minutes it was crystal clear and it tasted great!

Buy These, Not the OEM replacements

These filters meet the same exact standards as the OEM filters and they come in a 2-pack that is cheaper than ONE of the OEM filters. So glad I checked Amazon before buying.

Fits my GE fridge

These filters are way cheaper than buying the GE brand recommended by the mfr. They install easily and look identical to the "real" ones GE tells you to use.
