This item works!!

We have two Shih Tzu’s. If a car arrives or company enters the house or my husband walks by a window or he’s on the tractor they bark not for a little bit but continuously and it can last 15 minutes or longer. One afternoon’s use of this and we no longer have barking dogs. Even when they are playing they are quiet about it now and not barking at the top of their lungs. They are very good dogs and obedient except when they get excited and bark like crazy. Thank you so much for this product.

Can’t believe it actually works!!!!!!

I RARELY write a review but had to for this product because I know there may be others out there like me. First, please know that I received no payment or gifts. This is a review from a desperate dog mom that is amazed by this product. I’ve had my puggle for over a year and am at my wits end. My dog suffers from anxiety that manifests as serious aggression towards other dogs. Walks are a nightmare. She is on meds, wears a muzzle and a special leash. All of which only help slightly. To avoid a horrible start to my days, I walk her at 4am when there aren’t any dogs on the street. You get the picture? Anyway, I received the Ultrasonic Trainer this morning and figured I’d use it on our afternoon walk. I honestly didn’t expect much but OMG it works! She saw a dog and as usually, turned into Cujo, lunged and started barking at the other dog. I quickly pressed the button and she instantly stopped. She tried again and I pressed the button and gave her “No, hush” command. She stopped instantly and looked at me like WTF. We encountered one more dog and I repeated the press and command. By the time we saw our third dog, she didn’t even flinch and kept walking right past it. This is truly incredible. I’m praying the situation only improves. Don’t hesitate and buy this product! I’m so glad I did.

Immediate Results but use with care and encouragement too!

I have a 60 lb lap dog that plays too much! She will tackle you at the door and lick you til you're waterlogged. Frankly, that's great for me, but not for when my mom or a stranger visits, hence the need for this trainer. After scouring reviews for a good device I settled on the Modus and so far I am impressed. After two uses and making sure to say NO each time, my dog immediately paused and you could see her wheels turning. Now when I say NO at different times even without the trainer, she already responds more appropriately. I'm sure I will have to use it periodically, but the results so far are very encouraging. Now fair warning: this is like blasting an air horn to a dog. It will scare them to death but it WON'T hurt them. However DO NOT overuse it. The first time or two, they will probably shiver and tuck tail like you would if someone blasted an air horn at you that you didn't expect. This is when you show ENCOURAGEMENT to calm then down, while fixing the behavior. This is NOT a panic button. It is a trainer - for you AND your pet!

It works! Why did I wait so long to try this!

I received the unit today and within ten minutes had a chance to use it. My boxer and min-pin go nuts barking every time someone walks in front of our house walking their dog. Sure enough, a guy walked by with his dog, and they started barking. I pressed the button and they both stopped immediately - looking all around like “what the heck was that?!” I said “Hush” as I pressed the button and when they stopped immediately I lavished praise on both. A few minutes later, another person walked by with a dog and they looked up, gave a very low “Grrr” and NO bark! I praised them immensely. I am truly amazed. Hopefully this will continue to work, but I am sure the training needs to be consistent - using a one word comman like ‘hush” and lavishing praise when they stop or don’t bark. I’ll update my review if there is anything to change in my initial reaction.

REALLY WORKS!

From the get-go, Hans, our Miniature Schnauzer, who lives for barking and barks for everything, responded positively to the Trainer. At first he stopped barking but continued trying to make muffled barking sounds. Every time he did, I zapped him with the trainer and he stopped immediately. I think a couple of more days of utilizing the trainer when barking is inappropriate will do the trick. FINALLY a gadget that works!!

Works for my crazy Doodle Dog!

This is my second one. My first was so successful (I have six dogs) and recently moved into a community from a farm. The Dogs were driving the neighbors crazy. All the dogs don't respond equally, but my Doddle Dog (the worst offender) stops immediately. I don't even have to push the button. I just hold it up and "aim". They said humans can't hear the beep, but I can easily. I can't decide if Im gong to give this to my neighbor(who gripes the most) or keep it for myself so I have one at each door!

No more bad boy

My girlfriend has a dog that gets mad when her family members get close to her while she is the sofa with him. So i decided to buy this and give it a try, i hide it on my pocket wait until she got in the sofa then i try to took him away and when hi is misbehaving i push the button and he look around and stops then get out the sofa.i was super amazed. Now she is using it to stop bad habits like trying to bite her when he is eating, barking and try to bite visitors.

This WORKS!

We ordered this trainer with a lot of pessimism & doubt that this (or anything else) would work on our (2) yapping dogs! But from the 1st time we tried it & every subsequent time we used it when they would start their incessant barking over nothing, it has stopped their bark immediately. We only have to activate it once (maybe twice), they cease barking, turn, look back at the device & return. Admittedly it's amazing & in our case, the best purchase we could have made. I recommend this to anyone who may have a barking issue or likely any other annoying habit your pet has that you want to control!

Amazing!

I should have gotten this a long time ago. It works wonders for my barking dog. I used this along with a verbal sound and he was broken of his bad habit in 3 days. Now when he hears the verbal command he stops. Don't get me wrong. Dogs are allowed to bark. But when it's the same routine and he should know better by now it's not acceptable. No more yelling at him to stop yelling!

This device has changed our lives

This device has changed our lives. I have a minature dachsund whom is very protective of his home, would bark at people when they arrived, bark at people when the leave and bark at people/dogs/cars as they would go by in front of our home. Our dog is now the "perfect" dog, and we keep saying that "he is the dog we always wanted". Even people coming into our home now "Love" him, instead of thinking what a horrible barking dog he is.
