works with Canon M50
Bought this thing because i got a new Canon M50 and there is no port for a hard wired shutter release like the rebel camera I was shooting with. Paired to the new M50 easy and has been working well since. One thing i wish this remote had was the option to turn flash on or off, but this is a less expensive copy of the Canon BR-E1A remote and i do not believe that has a on/off for flash either. I clip the remote onto my pants using a generic carabiner thing bought off of amazon (pictured) and it works great for my real estate photography gigs.

Works perfectly.
Ordered this for my Canon 77D. This works perfectly in photo mode and video mode. I use my 77D to record my daughter's volleyball games. This allows me to not have to touch the camera to start/stop the recording.

Works with EOS R
It works for me with EOS R. Use it to remotely trigger the shutter and start/stop video. And I found it could also be used for long exposure. Press the shutter release on the remote with camera in bulb mode, it will start the exposure and press the shutter botton again when you want it to stop. A very useful remote. It's ideal to aviod vibration during long exposures.not take picture Only complaims is the shutter button and the Aotofoucs button are the 2 different buttons. It would be more simple and convenience if it have all function in one button. I did notice some reviewer said it would wake up the camera when pressing shutter release button but the camera do not take pic. Guess it must be the focus. When the camera in AF mode, you must press the AF button to make the camera focus correctly otherwise it will

Works !
Works exactly as described 100% zero issues . I dont know why people say its complicating to connect ? I have a canon 77d it took less than a minute out the box to set up .

Worked well with my Canon 77D.
Perfect item for when you need a shutter release! No wires to fumble with or that might get wrapped around your tripod. Used it for two days while shooting waterfalls.

Works great and way cheaper than the official Canon one
I've used it a few times and its fired the camera every time I press the button, no issues at all. Once it is paired you just set the camera to the remote shutter mode or timer mode when you want to use it and that is it (Canon EOS R).

Im in the picture and it has face Rec!
This is so high tech. I bought it for simple reasons, I just want to be a part of the picture 💜 but it’s so fancy. Face recognition! Whaaatt?? Welcome to 2019!

Small, Focus is Great
As a photographer, I never get pictures with me in them. This allows me to be in my family photos. The focus is great. It’s a small remote, so it’s easy to hide in pictures too. I am very excited about utilizing it often.

Works like a charm as a Canon M50 shutter release!
Worked like it should, not very durable looking or feeling but doesn't really have to be...especially good price when you compare it to Canon's own product!
