Strong durable and light weight

Really nice umbrella. Strong and durable. Takes small place. Better than any umbrella I have tried. With heavy wind it does filp but you can just flip it back. I think we can't expect an umbrella to not flip in the heavy wind if we want it to be flexible, light weight and fit in handbag.

Performs as advertised

This umbrella is advertised as being almost instantly dry due to its teflon coating. It is also advertised as being more rugged than its budget counterparts. The advertising is correct. Shake it off and you can immediately fold it back up. It is as easy to open/close/wrap-up as any other pop open umbrella I've used. It is heavier than its budget counterparts, but that's a function of having a more rugged construction. The only real downside is the price, since leaving this one behind costs about 3 times as much to replace as for a budget travel umbrella.

Solid build, automatic opening and closing

Item as described, shipped on time. It opens and closes automatically. I did not test it in heavy winds, I will add more when I do. I had one before not exactly the same but it held good when I had it facing strong winds

Info on umbrella replacement

The other reviewers have covered this umbrella in detail so not much to add here other than my daughter's experiences with it have been positive... though I should point out that she's used it a total of two times so far :P ... I'm pretty good about updating my reviews and based on the positive review this got in the wirecutter I purchased the blue colored version of this umbrella for my son so if , say, three years from now I haven't changed my 5 star review you can assume that the umbrellas are still holding up well and we're happy with them :) ... If anyone is curious as to how the replacement umbrella thing works, here's a copy and paste of the email I got from the manufacturer (not that there's a problem, heck the umbrella was only used two times so far :P .. but I was curious as to how to use the lifetime warranty they offer) .. (I assume by order number they mean amazon order number... I love the umbrella, plus awesome customer service.

I initially returned because the umbrella I received have a hole on the canopy. The seller instantly contacted me about the issue and sent me a replacement. Great customer service! As for the umbrella itself. I love it. The color is so vibrant. I have not have the occasion to use it under heavy rain but the frame feels sturdy. Plus it's easy to use. ( The button will fully open the umbrella,and it will close the canopy when pressed again. I fix the canopy first before I push along the length of the umbrella until it clicks (resting position) ). I included pictures for reference , i just wished my camera is doing justice to the color. Will definitely recommend.

Completely impressed!

LOVE this umbrella! It's super sturdy, easily opens and closes with an easy push of the button, which is made well and won't wear out for what I expect will be the long life of this umbrella. The sky print inside is so pretty too. I live about 30 miles North of the Gulf Coast so it will get plenty of use and make it so much easier to get in and out of the car. I haven't used it yet but I'm looking forward to seeing how the water sheets off the teflon, less water in the car is a good thing. Oh, and obviously I will be keeping it in my car. It fits perfectly in the little storage caddy on the back of my passenger seat. I would recommend this to everyone! I'm very impressed.

Excellent umbrella upon inspection

Excellent umbrella upon inspection. Definite recommend and definite purchase as a worthy gift. My wish is for more colors and for a fire truck red. Very cool design, specifically the one touch closing. Extremely sturdy, by far the most sturdy of all umbrellas I've ever used. Backed by a lifetime guarantee, wow ! As to whether it will stand the test of time and actual usage is to be determined and as to whether the guarantee will be honored is to be determined.

Great customer service!!

I purchased 3 of these umbrellas for my family. My hubby and I found that these umbrellas worked great. Easy to open and close. Held up in rainy Vancouver. Haven’t had a chance to try them out in a wind storm yet, so can’t say how they will hold up. Wanted to give a shout out to Rebecca in customer service. My son’s umbrella came home from school and 2 of the ribs were bent and he could close it anymore. I sent them an email (to ask about life time warranty). Rebecca relied basically right away and has already submitted a request for a replacement for me. Great product, great service. Yay for supporting small businesses.

Attractive & Durable!

I just used this umbrella on a rainy day and am very happy with it. Aesthetically it's quite attractive - I love the black external and sky pattern inside. It also feels very durable and I like that its "double lined"/thicker due to the duo print. My only complaint is that the velcro wrap tie to keep it closed needs to be just a tad longer. The umbrella is so big I have trouble closing it and have to fight to make the velcro stick from one side to the other. Otherwise - great umbrella!

Best Umbrella You Will Find!

This is a fantastic umbrella. It is sturdy and well built and I just know it will last me forever. Additionally the look of it is awesome. I researched for a while before I bought a new umbrella, I wanted one that was an auto open/ auto close, wouldn't turn inside out on me and was light enough to carry to and from work and night classes (oh and would keep me dry!). I have to say I found the perfect product. The company is also a small home operated business. They emailed me a thank you for my purchase as soon as I bought it and then followed up to make sure I was satisfied when it was delivered. The first umbrella I received did not auto close, I emailed the company and explained and they instantly sent me a new umbrella that arrived in 2 days that works perfectly. I recommend this company and this umbrella to everyone.
