Lightweight ~ Easy To Operate ~ Don't Need Help Starting It!
If only there was video of me trying to start our gas-powered leaf blower... awkward, clumsy, rarely successful & ultimately frustrating and annoying for this woman. My husband also had a corded version, but that would involve hooking up an extra long extension cord. And then there's the older "rechargeable" version that had very little power. I got this Craftsman, had my husband charge and install the battery, and I was happily blowing off the porches without breaking a sweat. It is lightweight. I just squeeze the trigger (and the booster button when needed) And am delighted I have my very own leaf blower that completely handles our porches. I don't think it's powerful enough for a big landscape "blow" - It isn't as powerful as our gas-powered one, but it is PERFECT for this old gal and my independent purpose. VERY HAPPY!!!

Battery operated, but quite powerful
I kept my expectations low, because battery-operated versions of yard power tools often seem to come up short. I had been using a small Black+Decker battery-operated blower and it only had enough strength for the lightest of jobs. But this Craftsman version is bigger and better. I use it after mowing, and it does a great job of cleaning up my sidewalk and driveway. It can handle leaves, clumps of moist lawn clippings, and small twigs with ease. It has a button that lets you turn on a "boost" mode for bigger jobs. Of course, this will drain the battery more quickly, but I've gotten a lot of use out of boost mode. I use the blower for 5-10 minutes at a time, a couple days per week. At that rate, I've found that I can get 2-3 weeks of use from a single battery charge. It comes with two batteries, so it's reassuring to know that one battery is ready to go while I'm using the other. Batteries are easy to attach and detach, and to plug into the charger. Really, this is just a really well designed, easy to use blower. Here is the only complaint I have, and it's really quite minor: the batter has a button that, when pressed, lights up an indicator to let you know how much charge is left on the battery. However, when that battery is attached to the blower, the button is hard to get to, and the indicator is hard to see. It would have made so much more sense to put the button and indicator elsewhere. Other than the battery indicator, I've found this to be a great blower to have on hand when I'm doing yard work.

The Craftsman V20 Handheld Blower is Nearly Perfect Unit - I Really Like It!
This unit is used around our community pool, shuffle board, pickle ball court and the common walkways. The unit assembles fast and easy. The 20 volt batteries (two) provide plenty of run time. I love the variable speed trigger that allows you to control the air flow. It also saves battery power. The Craftsman V20 is one of the lightest portable blowers I've used. All in all this is a great unit. I highly recommend it. It is also well worth a full fives stars.

Love This Blower
I've gotten a few of these in the past which all has weird issues (didn't blow fast, short battery life, etc), but this Craftsman checks all the boxes. EASY assembly, just shove the main tube in really. It has power and does two speeds. It starts on low always which I like. Then hit the top button with your thumb and turbo mode kicks in. My current blower has an AC cord. With the Craftsman it is SO nice grabbing it and getting right to it, ANYWHERE. Here's a feature I like: you don't have to squeeze to hold this blower. When you put your first and second finger on the BIG trigger and turn it on, the blower is perfectly balanced with the head pointing slightly down. It balances on your fingers! The weight f the unit keeps the trigger depressed and the thing just goes. Very cool, saves my hands. Comes with TWO batteries and a charger. That second battery is a nice bonus.

Solid
Definitely impressed with this blower. I've got Craftsman tools and have always been happy with them, but I was a little skeptical about a blower powered by the same battery as my impact driver, but this holds up. I'm not a professional landscaper, I just wanted a hand held blower that I could use around my house to keep things clean, but I didn't want to deal with having to fill up a gas container every now and then and have to remember to oil the parts on a gas blower, nor did I want the sound or fumes that accompany a gas blower. This blower does everything I want, and considering I already have a line up of their 20v tools, I have multiple batteries that I can swap out if I need an extended blowing time. This thing has plenty of power. I thought it wouldn't have enough power, but I really don't have any issues with it. If I was a professional landscaper I'm sure I'd want gas powered for longevity and more power, but this is perfect for at home use on any standard property. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time and one full battery is normally plenty of juice for me to clean up my property. The trigger is easy to use and has a variable speed built into it so you can use more or less power when needed as well as a boost option. The blower itself weighs less than 8lbs so it's easy to carry around without much fatigue. Oveall just really happy and impressed with this. Definitely recommend for any homeowner looking to keep their property clean.

OMG (oh my greatness!)
I've owned cordless blowers in the past with supposedly high reviews however I always ended up very disappointed with them. I was timid about trying this one to be honest. Well I had no reason to be. I am so glad to have it. I'm so happy with the new technology on these blowers. I am surprised by how much air it moves with the outlet opening. I would've thought with a smaller outlet it would have had more accelerator hence better blowing capability but I was wrong. This large outlet and fan design is really outstanding. It comes with two batteries and they charge rather quickly. I should never have to be without power. I thought Craftsman tools were declining in the past but this may be a resurgence since new ownership has taken over the brand. Highly recommend.

Comes with two batteries and a charger
This CRAFTSMAN CMCBL720D2 V20 Handheld Blower comes with two batteries and a charger. This is a cordless leaf and grass blower. It is powered by a rechargeable, 20V battery and there are two included. The blower is fairly lightweight at around 8lbs, although I have another blower that's at least a pound lighter. It comes virtually assembled - just snap in the blower tube and then snap in a battery and you're ready to start blowing. The build is impressive and the motor is brushless. The tube has a metal ring fitted on the end so you can loosen wet or compacted leaves to blow away without damaging the tube. You can control the blower speed by pulling more or less on the trigger and there is a power boost button on the top of the blower for heavier or wet debris. There is a metal, snap up, hook for hanging from a nail or hook when not in use. The battery life depends on how much you use the boost button. A fully charged battery will provide over an hour of blowing at low speed and about 30 minutes at high speed but only 15 minutes or so using the boost button continuously. However, with two batteries, you can blow wet, compacted leaves and clippings with the boost button for about a half an hour. So cordless blowers definitely do not have the power of gas or corded blowers but the tradeoff is that cordless blowers are lighter and easier to maintain. I am a woman of a certain age without a lot of upper arm strength so I love cordless blowers. They are easy enough for even a kid to use and no gas to refill. This one does a great job on my largish property to keep it looking neat. It doesn't come with a shoulder strap, which would be nice, but I don't find it excessively tiring to use this without a shoulder strap. This one seems a little more expensive than other, similar models but when you consider that two batteries and the charger are included, it's actually a good deal. And if you own other Craftsman, 20V, cordless, tools, the batteries are interchangeable. Unless you need the power and the endless power of a gas blower, this is a nice choice.

Great cordless blower
When I first used this, I was disappointed with the power. It moved the leaves enough to be useful but wasn’t as good as my standby corded blower. Then I realized it had a “turbo” button at the top of the handle. 😊 I locked that into place and it was just as powerful as my corded unit. Of course, it sucks the battery faster in turbo mode, but it comes with two batteries. Unless you’ve got a mansion it’s unlikely that you’ll go through both of them in a single outing. It’s very lightweight and easy to handle. My 75-year old mother wants to use it for work around her house. She’s still very active but I worry about her overdoing it with her activities. I’m not worried at all about her using this tool though. Recommended.
