Great camera
After doing research on several different Sercurity cameras. I read some of the reviews I decided on this one. I must say, I’m really impressed. It shipped quickly and I noticed the great quality as I took it out of the box. The set was quick and easy. The 1080p video looks amazing. And I love the way the auto night vision works. You have options you can connect with a Ethernet cord or wireless. I connected to watch my front door so I can see you is coming and going and with the motion detector and the user friendly app I feel my house is more secure when I’m not home. I’m planning on buying more for the rest of my property.

Great price for a great weatherproof camera.
I've had my camera for a few days now. I can say first hand the image quality is fantastic and audio recording works very well. The TuyaSmart app you use on your phone and tablet is very professional and easy to use. First, I had to create a tuya account then setting up my camera was a breeze. I did have to move the phone back and forth to get the camera to read the bar code but after that, it it did the hard work. It's really amazing how easy it was to get working. The app allows you to live view in SD or HD, it's honestly hard to tell the difference they both look great. The app allows you to name the camera, share it, flip the screen for upside down viewing, show a time watermark, enable motion detection which has three levels of sensitivity, and also enable sd card recording. You can enable event recording or nonstop recording and also format the memory card from the app. If you wanted you could also purchase a cloud storage solution. I'm not sure how that works exactly as I have not used that. You can also update the firmware through the app which is painless and easy to do. I did have an issue with my watermark time not matching the actual time but I contacted support directly through the app and they responded within one day stating they would be releasing a firmware update to fix the issue. The camera does support the same type of power cords that any BNC camera cable supports so you can purchase extension cables very easily. It does come with about 15-20 feet of power cable though. Out of the back of the camera are two cable plugins and a reset button, power, ethernet. This particular camera does not support power over ethernet which was kind of a disappointment but it will work over ethernet instead of wifi if you needed it to, you just need to still provide power to it. Overall the camera allows me to pretty much do anything I can do with a full CCTV security system. I can remotely from the app take pictures and videos that will save on the phone or even access the playback that is recorded on the sd card and even from there you can record or screenshot to your phone. You can also access the calendar and pick an exact day you want to check footage on. Within the app, you will receive your alerts for motion detection from a message center. They will come with a picture from the time the alert was triggered and a time stamp but when you click on one to view it you actually have to search for the date and time to locate it. It would be better if it just loaded that point for you, I hope they change that. Overall though I'm very happy with the camera. It does everything a camera should do very well. My gripes would be I wish the mounting solution was a little easier. It's not an issue at all but could be made easier. If you need a simple to use camera that has to be weatherproof this is a great option.

Great camera without expensive subscriptions
We recently bought a house, with a back door to the basement. It's in a dark spot and to be honest, it scares me, especially at night time. I installed a motion light, a motion detector, and a door sensor, all also bought here on Amazon. However, I sometimes get "wrong" alarm, when hubby, kids or our cats are in or around the basement. It freaks me out, especially in the nighttime. After looking around I decided to buy this camera, as I have already others from the same manufacturer. The installation, was quite easy, however, it does not use the IP360 app, which ....my indoor camera uses, but the Tuya smart app. This app looks exactly like the smart life app, but the camera, did not accept another app but Tuya. Maybe my mistake, i'm not very good with those things, which brings me to the next point. Installation was easy, hole for the cable, three screws for the camera. Very easy, my hubby was impressed. The app use is pretty easy, and you can buy cloud storage for about $5 or use an microSD card. The quality is quite impressive by day. The photo is made in the early morning. The night coverage looks good as well, but is black and white. I'm really happy that I finally can "see" I the dark corner.

None Better!
I received this camera in two days. Out of the box it felt and looked very well built. Metal construction, easy to adjust with one screw to fix the adjustment. Software connection was simple and fast. Picture quality was excellent, sound quality acceptable. I was impressed with the extra cabling to make powering more versatile. I really like an AC camera over a battery powered one- I would always forget to change the batteries! Before I retired I spent $17,000.00 on a system for a facility I managed. Granted that was with a DVR and conduit to 16 cameras, but at this price I can buy a heck of a lot of cameras as long as I have the band-width to carry the signal. Great cameras.

Great camera and customer service
I'm not kidding I have never in my life experienced such good customer service. I was having a little trouble with the playback feature and the Apeman team was so good. They worked with me for weeks trying to troubleshoot it and ultimately sent me a new camera with updated firmware. The camera itself feels great. High quality mat metal and picture quality. I struggled to get playback of old footage on the app but it could be my internet since it's outside. Regardless, I will buy from them every time. They repeatedly emailed me months after my first troubles just to make sure things were fixed.

Wonderful quality
I am very happy with this camera and the quality of the video feed. The box contained everything needed, including water proof tape, to make set up easy. There is an extra cord and some other pieces that were not needed but maybe others will use them? The instructions were simple to follow and once the app was installed, it was very quick to connect the device. The picture and sound are very clear and on my phone. I will definitely be ordering another one or two now that I know this works so well. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Returned. Intermittent short. Revised rating due to excellent response by company
The camera was relatively easy to setup and image quality was OK - raw images were clear but zooming in produced grainy images. The problem I encountered was that, after mounting the camera on a wall, camera operation was intermittent. I think the problem relates to how the camera is mounted. The camera base has a Allen set-screw that allows the base to be rotated. Rotation also causes the wires to move, which I assume caused a problem with electrical connections. After positioning the camera, I could shake the mounted camera and sometimes it would work and sometimes it would stop working. REVISED REVIEW: After I returned the camera, I was contacted by the company. After a number of email exchanges discussing the problem I encountered, they ask me if they could send me a new camera to test at no charge. I have installed the camera and it works as I originally expected. I still have some qualms about the way the camera is wired; however, due to the outstanding technical support I raised my rating to 5 stars.
