Works Great

Works great. Bought for my boyfriend and His first find was a parking lot sign with the concrete still attached to the pole. Needless to say it was heavy and the magnet managed to bring it up.

Its a very strong magnet! I am very pleased with the quality and fast shipment of the products. I purchased it for magnet fishing and can't wait to get it in the water!

530 pound magnet

What I disliked was that the threaded I bolt would come free when in use. I had to go out and buy a tube of Lock Tite, put it on the thread so the bolt wilol not work itself loose. My and my friends use the magnet for Magnet Fishing. My friends have the same type of magnet and have pulled up a 100 year old anchor, a couple of skateboards, fishing equipment, lots of old nails and junk. They are tossing their magnet off a dock at was used during the era of steamboats from 1860 to 1900. So there is no telling just how much junk lies on the bottom of the lake awaiting recovery. I use paracord on my magnet as it is strong than the magnet and it doesn't retain water adding weight. This is a form of treasure hunting. Go on Youtube and type in Magnet Fishing and you will be surprised just what people are finding.

Not for beginners

I am very excited and I can’t wait to use this when I go camping at a lake or river to find new treasures from my collection, I would suggest buying a nice stainless steel carabiner for the loop hole on the magnet with a long spool of para cord which is where resistant I would not recommend anyone buying this just for fun the magnet is strong and if used incorrectly you could damage your electronic phone or any other items you are caring around with you while you are using this item so if you’re a beginner I would start off with something a little smaller, otherwise this is a nice strong magnet and I can’t wait to use it.

dont let this pass you by

I got this magnet specifically for metal fishing the local rivers and ponds and it has been great! This is a strong magnet! (mashed fingers and blood blister warning) I was able to pull a large piece of galvanized pipe about 15 feet long out of the water with ease with just one. Was also able to smash 3 fingers at once when I did not pay attention to the proximity of my second magnet. be careful with this over all for $36.00 the price this is a killer deal for what you get, outer shell is durable (milled steel) and a magnet that is no joke a heads up before using this the eye-bolt should be loc-tight'ed in before casting out, I had to fish one magnet out my local ice pond after losing it while reeling it in.

Quality Magnet

Magnet arrived quickly and well packaged. The strength is as advertised. The double sides is a plus as it is always in contact with the bottom as you drag it along. We've caught quite a few things already. We've found bikes and pulled them up with no problem. We've (the kids) even managed to catch one of our other magnets (as shown in the picture). Overall I would highly recommend this magnet.

good strong magnet

My son is going to take this magnet fishing this coming weekend, he was practicing in the back yard and found a leftover construction nail that was left over. He is very happy with it, but will see how he does picking metal out of the lake this weekend.
