great replacement battery for my Black and Decker tree saw

I like the faster charge time, the longer use time, the indicator lights to show the amount of charge and the price.

Last and last, dangerous

It is way better than the original battery, the power is awesome. With the old batteries (NiCad) I was able to get about 20 minutes trimming when they were new, With this battery, I am getting close to one hour, to the point that I am exhausted. Careful, it can run you down. Con: can't buy the second one since Amazon discontinued 5000mAh. I am contemplating on 3000mAh, but... don't want less power.

Worked great with Black & Decker Line Trimmer

This product worked great with Black & Decker Line Trimmer. This 18V lithium battery lasted almost 3 times longer than the old NiCad batteries that came with the product in very heavy use.

So far so good

Bought this in May 2019. I have charged this twice and used this twice until fully depleted. Not only did the batteries last me several hours of use, but it also made my weed whacker and leaf blower amazingly powerful, and charged quickly using my current B&D 18V smart charger. This Lithium-ion is also super lightweight compared to the previous NiCD and NiMH batteries. I will update the review after using this for an extended period of time.

This was a great deal . Thai battery works perfectly and is all that I need to a hard work day.

I love this new battery it replaces the old one perfectly. I was able to trim my yard using just 1 battery instead of having to change batteries 3x during my trimming. The indicator on the front of the battery gives you exactly how much battery is left to use. You can hear the difference in the power of the lithium battery over the nicad.

appears to be excellent quailty

Just receives so have not had a chance to use it yet, but it appears to be a good replacement to original battery that lasted several years

Strong battery

This battery is a replacement for the battery that came with my Black & Decker Blower, It's bigger and stronger and last longer at usage before it needs recharged. Love it.

Great Battery as good as original

Was skeptical about getting this battery as it is half as much as the Black and Decker brand of the same specs. Was also skeptical of the 2.5Ah as the model number is 2040 which I thought may stand for 2.0Ah and 40 volts. After using it, all doubts are lifted. It is great and I can mow the lawn again! More background, I have about every B&D lawn tool there is in the 40V range. Mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer, blower, chain saw, and you name it, I've got it. So I have a lot of batteries, right? Wrong. After three years, my batteries are dieing off. Basically they will not even start the mower for more than a second. They may power the smaller tools for a few minutes, but that's it. Going from full charge to zero in just a minute or two. So, I went from 7 batteries down to basically three "good ones" that I could only cut half my yard with. In walks this new battery. Get it in the mail, and throw it on the charger to top it off. Throw it in the mower and it already sounds better. Seems to keep the "revs" high and doesn't bog down in high grass like it did with any of my old batteries. Cut the entire back yard and still have half a charge left. The front yard killed all three of my old batteries. So the verdict? I love it. It is strong, lasts long, and when I got done I threw it on the charger and it started charging again right away. My three older batteries were so hot and drained, all I got was the "overtemp" light and they will have to cool for hours before taking a charge. I liked it so much I ordered another one. I was considering getting an 80v mower, but this battery has saved me from making that $500 purchase and my B&D mower is now going strong again. Go ahead and buy one, maybe two.
