I'm a convert

I've been using an old fashioned hand can-opener for the longest time. At the prodding of my wife (who does most of the cooking), I decided to give this a try. I was honestly surprised at how well it works. The first time I used it I thought I had done something wrong because it appeared the can hadn't been opened. I didn't realize it was opening the outside edge (I'm used to the hand crank opener which opens the inside of the lid and leave a rigid sharp cut). Nice clean, goes all the way through, and then lid then just pops off. Love it.

Having an automatic can opener.

This can opener is very easy to use. A smooth cut so the lid removes easily, with out jagged edges. I highly recommend this can opener you'll be glad you did. Good quality, easy to clean. Works Great!

2 cans 2 successful openings so far

purchased due to broken elbow and received 6.11.19. Battery install with one hand was easy. First can it didn't work. But same issue I would have with my manual OXO and Kuhn Rikon, if the can label is too close to the lid lip it interferes with blade contact. pulled the label away and it worked. 2nd can the label was already wrapped to expose the can. only issue is that my manual openers have a pincher like addition that grips the lid to remove it. With one hand and the vacuum sealed contents, it is a bit more challenging to open. I would recommend this!

Makes life in the kitchen easier. Don’t use many canned foods but this opener is a must

This has been a much needed kitchen asset that I have waited way too long to acquire.

Space saving and easy to use

Easy to use and I love that it opens with a smooth edge. It’s small so can fit in a drawer and not take up counter space like a traditional electric can opener.

So easy! And dare I say FUN?

This item was a little heavier than I expected. This is not a problem, but a bit of a surprise. This can opener is so easy and dare I say fun? Place it on top or the can, push the button and walk away. Push the button again to release and voila! Done! I love this thing. I plan to buy several as gifts for my loved ones. Especially for those with arthritis in the hands.

a good gift !

I bought this one as a gift for one friend who got muscle issues on his left hand due to the old injury. He already used it for outdoor camping last weekend. He likes it a lot and it really helps as advertised !
