Price tag may be more than I would like but it functions as advertised with my DS4. To get rid of the cursor on the screen just unplug and plug it back in after the playstation boots up. Pairing instructions are on the box and on a stick on the dongle so it's idiot proof. Just plug it in and once it's powered as indicated by the bluetooth light, press the pair button on it and put your controller in pairing mode as well.

INCREDIBLE product. Works flawlessly. Good price. Analog sticks work for all games. Can pull up mod menu without Corsair keyboard or BleemSync. A must have for anyone with a PlayStation Classic.

With the help of 8bitdo's support I was able to get this working properly after I started off with issues. Here are some tips for others who might have the same problems I had. #1: Make sure you have a Bluetooth-supported Xbox One controller. If it's a wireless model, and the plastic area surrounding the "Xbox guide" button is the same color as the rest of the face of the controller, you have a Bluetooth enabled controller. If the plastic area surrounding the "Xbox guide" button matches the color of the top of the controller (L/R and LT/RT bumpers and triggers), you have an older model that does not support Bluetooth. #2: Update the firmware of the 8bitdo wireless adapter. I recommend you avoid the "Firmware updater" tool and instead get the correct firmware directly installed by going to support dot 8bitdo dot com, then click "Firmware" then click the download link next to the newest version of firmware for this adapter (under Retro Receiver / USB Adapter section). In order to put the 8bitdo wireless adapter into a mode where it will accept a firmware update, you need to FIRST hold down the sync button at the end of it (the only button there is), and while holding that button, put it into a free USB port on your computer, and when it starts flashing GREEN, you can let go. Once you correctly run the firmware updater in the zip file (extract it first), you may need to unplug and plug it back in. #3: Update the firmware on your Xbox One Controller. You unfortunately NEED to do this using either an Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC. Go to the Windows Store and download an app called "Xbox Accessories". Plug in your controller using a USB cable and it will take you through the firmware update process. #4: Set the mode properly. For Windows, you will want to use either X-Input mode (more modern, Microsoft preferred), or D-Input mode (wider adoption, recommended for emulators). Here's how to set the mode. (SELECT is the button with two boxes overlaying each other located just to the bottom-left of the Xbox Guide button): X-Input: press and hold SELECT + UP for 3 seconds. D-Input: press and hold SELECT + LEFT for 3 seconds. Hope this helps you - my issue was #3. Once I got it working it did exactly what I wanted it to do - wireless gaming on Windows 7. I wish they had kept the button mappings the same as a wired Xbox One controller, but that's negligible.

Quick and easy setup with the DS4. Works with Bleemsync and second flash drive plugged in. Only issue is a small mouse icon hovering in the upper left of the screen if I boot my console with the adapter connected. Once you arrive at the psc home screen that shows all the games you can get this to go away by unplugging the adapter and plugging back in/reconnecting the controller. Definitely annoying and would be nice if fixed in an update soon.

This wireless adapter is perfect. It also enables analog stick functionality so it will be great if you are adding games via bleemsync.

Works like a charm. Even analog sticks work on PS classic. It took me 20 minutes to get a controller working but it was my fault. On PS4 controllers after you unpair them with a paper clip in the back you hole the PS button and the share button together. 3 seconds later it vibrated and synced right up. I played metal gear to see if the analogs worked. They did. I have yet to get a ps3, WiiU or a switch controller working. I only tried a PS3 beside the PS4 I had working. It was an old non dual shock six axis that shipped with my launch ps3. the charge is not holding well. I'll up date if I find more. TLDR: Works more than expected.

Some hiccups at first but works great now. I was able to connect my PS4 controller to the classic, change the regions back to NTSC instead of PAL using only this adapter and a PS4 controller, and games are so much better to play. Some things that I’ve ran into and that I’ve heard other people having issues with: 1) When I initially paired my PS4 controller to the adapter, none of the hot keys worked (ps button for reset, button combo for emulator settings) or the classic would say “unable to recognize controller”. I fixed this by disconnecting the PS4, controller, using a paper clip to hit the rest button on the back of the controller, and reconnecting it to the adapter. It’s been fine and haven’t had that issue ever since. 2) A mouse cursor appears over some menu and games. If I see it, it always disappears for the rest of the time I have the PlayStation on if I unplug the adapter and plug it back it. I’m assuming they’ll prob fix this in a firmware update for the adapter so not a big deal. Overall if you’re considering this for your classic, I’d say it’s well worth the money, made the classic much more playable.

Works great so far with my Xbox one X Bluetooth controller. I have also tested the sn30 pro 8bitdo controller and it works great. Also the thumbsticks are now compatible. one of the best parts is that thumbsticks are now functional which is really awesome. I give this an A++ so far but we will see what the longevity is for this product which I hope is long.

Works fantastic. This really makes the PS Classic complete. I can now use analog sticks in game! Couldn’t wait to get it in the mail and test it out and it far exceeds my expectations. Using with DualShock 4 controller. PS button is the “Reset Button” and L1 + R1 + Options brings up the Emulator Secret Menu.

Works as advertised with ps classic. Got it after I had spent some time adding more games for my PlayStation classic via bleemsync. Wanted the DualShock joystick option as it works better with many games and wireless so I didn’t have to be so close to the tv. Set up was a breeze. Only had to hit the button on the wireless adapter and button combination as mentioned in the instructions to. Sync ps4 controller. Also as a bonus ps4 home button functions same as reset button to take you back to menu. One slight issue is cursor appears in corner, Did not bug me too much as was offscreen, maybe future update can remove.
