I've never had a 1TB ssd, although I've had 256gb and 512gb drives all of different makers, but I figured if I was going up to 1T I'd go Samsung. I cloned my 512gb Mushkin to the Samsung drive w/o a problem using Acronos True Image 2019 instead of the Samsung Magician software that you can download. Put the Samsung in as the boot drive to see if it would boot and the PC booted right up...I booted the drive several times to see if there were any problems but there were none. I then erased the 512gb drive and will use it as my second drive putting Linux 19.1 Mint on it giving me a dual boot system. I'm very, very pleased.

My internal drive on my xbox one x failed. I thought id upgrade it to an ssd! I bought this, set it up and wow major difference! Boot times for games that took around a minute to load, loads up in about 12-20 seconds! Longevity is unknown, ive had many cheaper SSDs that i bought over the years for pcs that are still working great to this day! And i trust Samsung more than i do with those no name brand ones i have. If your xbox internal Seagate fails definitely upgrade to an SSD! Download speeds are peaked since there is not a bottleneck with the write, and load times will be 3x as quick, open world games draw is instant. Well worth my investment!

This is the second one of these 1TB SSD drives that I've bought and installed within a week. The Dell XPS 8910 install worked so well that I had to do one in my wifes Inspiron 23 all in one. Another perfect upgrade with no issues, and I upped the ram from 6GB to 16GB at the same time, making her machine run like new. Once again, the physical installation was the hardest part. Thanks Samsung!

Watched a video on Youtube to confirm locations of all the screws: ten minutes. Worked on a towel at the kitchen counter with one small Phillips screwdriver and a credit card: bottom off in another ten minutes. Removed the ribbon running over the drive (removing one screw to do so). Pulled the two rubber tabs which were holding the old drive and removed the drive, replaced with SSD and pushed in those two rubber tabs. Replaced the ribbon over the drive, snapped on the bottom making sure it was even, and tightened all the screws: five minutes. 25 minute total time. Not a problem. Ran all the diagnostics from a boot straight from the unconfigured SSD drive: Success. Inserted Windows 10 Enterprise disk into drive. Installed Windows, configured, loaded utilities from ninite.com. Loaded my custom BMS tools - the purpose of this exercise :) Easy Job. No Problems! Excellent!

I Brought this SSD for my PS4 PRO and my load times are faster and the home screen is very zippy now I did my research as I do with anything I spend over fifty dollars on and it has a lot of positive reviews and please ignore any reviews that are PC related about this SSD because your PS4 or PS4 PRO are not going to push this drive like a PC would but on the other hand I've heard it's really good for anyone with a simple starter PC so to each it's own but all in all it's a great drive for a excellent price with a trusted name like Samsung to back it.

I rarely write reviews but I am so happy with this drive. I used EaseUS Todo Backup 11.5 to clone my old WD HD which worked great (The software that is). I had a PNY XLR8 in my laptop which is an HP ProBook 450 G1 and it died and I had to revert back to my old drive. My startup times were what seemed like an eternity. Now I boot up to the login screen in about 3-5 seconds and another 10 or 15 and I am totally up. I have been playing around and learning Oracle DB and Informatica and have those programs installed. They are now lightning fast. I used to have to wait about what seemed like 30 seconds for the Informatica Services to start and now it like I click the mouse and they start right up. I have a huge Access DB on my computer and it opens in seconds. I do not know a lot about the benchmark scored if I am reading it right then appears I have 3G both read and write. I was expecting it to show 6, but I am not real sure if I am looking at it correctly. Someone might want to correct me on my assumptions, but regardless I am very happy. Hopefully this thing will last longer than the PNY did.

Glad to see prices on larger capacity SSD's coming down. Replaced my secondary mechanical hard drive with one of these and loading games feels just as fast as my boot drive.

This was a great improvement to our computers. I bought one for the desktop and one for my laptop. They have made our older (3 years) computers function like the best of the best. We love the drives and they are easy to install with the program provided to clone the drive in your computer to the new drive. What a perfect system!

high quality, easy to migrate and install, using Samsung software.
