Cracked after painting

Wood slices were exactly as pictured, all of the bark was intact and the slices were sanded smooth. Unfortunately, after painting them several cracked. I contacted fuyit directly and they were quick and efficient in helping me out. I would gladly do business with them again.

Good deal!

These are perfect for the Christmas ornaments I was trying to make, and a good value! The only problem I had was that the wood around the edges comes off easily and leaves behind a lot of dust so you have to be very careful with them.

Great for Camp Name Tags

I got these for name tags for outdoor school. They wanted something that the kids wear in the dining hall when they are the johnny jump up. The bark sheds a little but it is not too bad. I used oracal 651 on them and it stuck fine. I did use several coats of mod podge to prevent the vinyl from lifting just in case as kids will be wearing them and I did not want it picked off. They turned out really nice and the teacher LOVED them.

Excellent wood slices for crafting.

I purchased these too make a variety of crafts for Christmas presents. Overall, I am impressed with the quality. Only one had a crack in it, and that is pretty common among these types of wood slices. I drilled 3 holes in several of these, threaded and tied jute time through than to make a hanging platform for tiny succulent planters. I am so pleased with how they turned out. I have just begun to paint others for Christmas ornaments. They ate turning it very nice.

Nice thick wood slices

Nice thick wood slices. Most of the bark was still attached to the slices, although some did fall off during shipment. There is included twine to hang the diy ornaments. I'm actually using these as gift tags but am able to personalize them and make the gift extra special. Decent size, not small. Has enough room for a 2 inch by 2 inch design on each. May try and paint some at a later date but I did use a wood burning tool and made 2 already. They turned out quite awesome.

Great quality/value!

Overall, a GREAT product with fantastic value. I make rustic Christmas ornaments and have loved this product. The bark comes off if you are not gentle with the wood slices, but it is a natural product so you have to expect that. I have ordered many times and only once did I have a wood slice arrive cracked in half. Customer service was efficient and gracious in replacing the product, so it ultimately was not a problem. I would highly recommend!

Great for crafting

I'm officially hooked on wood slices. I bought a set to test out making my own ornaments, but my kids wanted some of their own to try. They've made some for their teachers and we've all made some as gifts. We've used various markers from washable to permanent and all work well on these. We've also used paint which has turned out beautifully. These are a great size to allow for a larger design with more detail. I plan on purchasing a smaller set too.

Great for crafts

Good product for a simple craft project using acrylic paints. Definitely will apply some sort of primer or Gesso to them before painting as the wood is very soft (and porous). String and holes on the wood chips are the right size, and the string weave stays together when going through the hole is with helpful! They are going to be perfect for an activity at the workshop I am holding where I want a craft project. Will come back and update this review with pictures when we do the workshop.

Consistent quality

I do woodburning and so I always want good, consistent quality since it's usually for a personalized gift. These did not disappoint! They look great, and better than I could find in stores at a much better price.
