Consistent, accurate, useful

Accurate to the T. I use this for knife making when grinding my bevels and putting edges on knives. Dead accurate little gizmo and I don't know what I would do if I didn't have it. Simple to use and I get consistent, repeatable results.

Handy item

This is a fast and accurate tool to add to the shop. I have to admit that this device has drove me crazy trying to get my work tools/surfaces level due to the accuracy it delivers. HF drill press table was a good 10 mins to adjust (no surprise here). I like the easy to read/backlit numbers, however the arrow indicating the direction something needs to move to be level is the best. I would recommend this to my friends and tell them the kitchen island being slightly out of level never bothered you before you bought this highly accurate measuring device - lol!

It works perfectly. I like that the display will rotate to use the magnet. I wish the light on the display would stay on longer.

Fast response and backighted dispaly are great!

After purchasing a HF brand at a higher price I was disappointed that it was slow responding and had no back light. This GemRed is one of the best basic levels I've seen. It responds instantly and give a repeatable steady reading that is accurate. I use it on my vertical mill where the angle must be correct or the parts don't fit. I can easily see the display with the very good backlight. One of the best purchases I've made lately.

Good little angle finder

Good little angle finder. I do not like electronic measuring devises I've always found mechanical measuring equipment too be more accurate (I'm a machinist so I measure thousandths and ten thousandths of an inch all day every day) so I was nervous about this item, but it works great for what I need it for (setting angles on my knife sharpener within a quarter of a degree or so, not precision) super easy function, very compact and comes in a nice cover. Very pleased with this item
