Excellent alternative to the Ring.com solar panels

I purchased a 2 pack of these for 2nd Generation Ring.com Stick up Battery cameras that require the DC ‘barrel plug’. They seem to work very well and are much less expensive than the Ring.com solar panels ($66 vs $98) - the only thing to mention is that once the 2 small screws are removed to install the plug on the back of the camera (which may not apply to the Spotlight Camera) is that the existing screws will NOT work with the plug on the solar panel. You need to get #4 x 3/8” machine screws and these will work very well to attach the plug to the back of the Stick Up Camera. A packet of these was $1.38 at Lowes. Other than that, they work very well and it’s always nice not to have to swap out a battery in the Ring Cameras and just let them do what they are designed to do.

Absolutely Amazing!

When we got the solar panels our batteries were almost dead and the solar panels charged all our batteries back to 100% with no issues. This was a great investment and great value for your money!

Great for Ring Battery Cams

THESE ARE AWESOME. They keep my two Ring Battery cameras charged so I never have to worry about them. And they were cheaper than the Ring branded ones. They come with good mounting hardware so they’re easy to secure to the outside of your house. VERY SATISFIED.

Great product, great value, great seller.

These solar panels for my Ring stick-up cameras with batteries were the lowest pricd by far of all similar products. I got a great deal on Amazon Prime Day. They arrived promptly, although there were issues with the packaging. Seller was very responsive to my comments and followed up. Great customer service. The panels were ridiculously easy to install, each taking about 5 minutes or so. I'm a 68 year old lady with three broken toes in a cast boot, climbing up a ladder to do this, and it was still easy. At the time of installation, the batteries were charged to 82% but after about three or four hours of sunlight, they charged to 100% and have remained fully charged. I highly recommend this product and the seller. So glad I found this!

Outstanding performance

Outstanding! Easy install. Popped out the rubber grommets on the camera plugged in solar panel and away you go. My batteries were reading 100% charged next day for front camera. Camera in rear of house I could not get as good sun exposure but even with that the batteries are slowly increasing charge. I will never have to take the batteries out again to recharge. I bought the two pack a great buy much cheaper and just as good as the RING panels.

Compared to stock good price for aftermarket

I paid full price for the stock panels for a couple of other installs so it was nice to save some money on the last two spotlight cams. Helps keep the batteries charged and seems to work as well as the stock panels.

Charging my batteries fine.

So far these panels are keeping the batteries charged in the camera and That’s what I need them to do. I’ll update this review if something changes. I’ve only had them installed for a couple of weeks.

Get them so you dont have to keep recharging the batteries

These Are the same thing only less expensive than the one sold by the ring company the only draw back is a we had to climb up on the roof to install them so that nobody would grab them, otherwise we're super pleased with these and recommend them to everyone

Solar Panels are perfect

This is my second set of TWO for my ring stick up cams. Work perfectly! Easy set up as it's plug in the camera and you're done! they are small but pack power. Easy to hang and hardware (screws and anchors if needed) are included along with "simple" instructions which are hardly needed.

It works!

The solar panels for the Ring video camera work. And I mean that as a powerful statement. They are easy to install, come with the necessary hardware and mounting options to fit many install applications. And the panels keep my cameras at full or near full charge continuously. We've had a number of days without sun in our area this winter, and once the the sun is visible, the panels charge the batteries up fully and rather quickly.
