Good value compared to most, and an odor is expected if it is really NAC, which contains sulfur

My wife and I have been taking this brand NAC for a few months. I have no way to know how good it is, as supplements are not well regulated, so I can't comment on that. We take NAC because if may have value if we become infected with the novel coronavirus, that causes COVID-19. And with regard to the odor, this is my experience: I noticed the normally expected sulfur odor when I opened the bottle to distribute the pills to my daily Rx sorter, but I have never noticed any odor when I am taking the pills each day. Yes, it is mildly annoying for a few minutes upon opening the bottle for the first time, but it has not bothered me since, and when I just opened it again, today, I had to hold the open bottle near my nose to notice any odor at all. As others have noted, if it is actually NAC, it is supposed to smell of sulfur ("rotten eggs"). That just indicates it is likely to be real NAC.

Better than what you find in stores.

Its a great price. Stores dont have 600 mg. much. This is an effective natural anti- depressant. It also clears congestion in ears and lungs during a cold.

Real n acetyl cysteine

Research studies seem to indicate it is effective in boosting glutathione anti oxidant levels in Covid19 patients. Also thins mucus in common cold and flu cases. 600 mg per capsule so you can adjust dosage accordingly. Prophylactic use 600-1200 mg daily. Active glutathione boost 2400+ mg daily probably want to stay under 8000 total daily mg.

Tastes ok, smells bad

These smell bad like rotten eggs but surprisingly they don’t taste bad at all. My dr recommended these for my facial blisters. Seems to be helping a bit after 4 weeks of use.
