This turtle is TINY! He will fit on top of a dime with room to spare. I purchased this for a man, but it really is too small. I plan to keep it for myself. I have no plans to put any cremains inside. Both the pendant and chain are lovely.

I love this product. It is small enough to not be heavy while wearing and doesn't look like plastic. I get lots of compliments on it and my baby loves to hold it. So far it's holding up well to wear and baby.

Impressive quality and beautiful detail combine to make a treasured keepsake urn

This Cremation urn necklace was one of three different ones I recently purchased for me and my family and it is my favorite. I love it! The smallest of the three, the Sea Turtle also holds the least amount of ashes. It is not hollow. Only a few grains of ashes can be placed in the small hole on the back, using the tools provided, but that is enough to keep a loved one close to you. Then it is secured closed with the screw. Afterwards, I secured it further with a tiny drop of crazy glue even though no stress is placed on the screw as the chain is threaded through the turtle’s upper flipper (unlike some necklaces that use their screw closures to hang the urn from the chain). While I was pleased with the look and quality of the chain, my chubby old arthritic hands find it a little difficult to clasp and unclasp because the clasp is small. I do not like large or gaudy jewelry so I really liked that this piece is petite and subtle. You cannot even tell it is a cremation urn jewelry piece. I was most impressed by the quality and the detail of the beautiful sea turtle. It is a fitting memorial as I first wore it when our family did a burial at sea from a cruise ship. Most of my late husband’s ashes were placed in a biodegradable ocean themed urn that was released and floated off in the wake behind the ship. But a few grains were in this necklace, by my heart, connecting me with the sea ... and my love ... until we meet again somewhere beyond the sea.
