It does as expected

Good quality, it charges only 1 - 2% a day. At first seems low, but, it is really more that what it takes daily, so, it should be enough. I have to complete a ear cicle to give a more truthful opinion, but so far so good. When first installed, batery reported 61%. After a couple sunny weeks, besides regular use, it now shows 65%. Steady enogh. Hope that when rain comes, and not so sunny, charge will be at least as much as consumption.

It worth every penny

I was REALLY tired of having to take this thing off the wall to recharge it every 4-5 days. Most times I would forget ending up with no camera for days (or weeks). Finally this came out and I bought it....and it changed my life already. Charged in full the doorbell (hopefully for the last time) this mount came with instructions (not really needed) and screws. Removed original mount, this one uses the same holes, put this one in place, plugged USB into doorbell and voila'. I think today is the 3rd day and battery still show 97% Totally recommended.

Solar for the Ring Doorbell

These work just fine. They more maintain the battery as opposed to charge it up however, we do have a lot of traffic so.... Worth the money!

I would definitely recommend this product

It was very easy to install.It works great and very happy with the battery life it supplys. The company follows up to make sure your satisfied with your purchase.They were quick to respond to a couple of questions I had about the product.I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have a hardwire to install the Ring doorbell.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED

THIS SOLAR CHARGER WORKS GREAT. I WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE THE WIRED RING DOORBELL AND USING THE ONE THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED AND PUT ON A CHARGER EVERY FEW DAYS WAS GETTING TO BE A PAIN IN THE BUTT. I SAW THE WRITE UP AND REVIEWS FOR THE SOLAR CHARGER AND THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. I MUST ADMIT THAT I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL, BUT IT HAS WORKED FANTASTIC SO FAR. AFTER ABOUT 2 WEEKS OF USE, IT IS STILL SHOWING 100% CHARGED. I COULDNT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS OUTCOME. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT. IT WAS EASY TO INSTALL ALSO.

Does not seem charge battery or maintain battery level.

Easy to install. However with sunrise at 7am and sunset at 7pm this thing doesn’t seem to make a difference. Battery still decreases in percentage every day. I would not recommend this to anyone.

This Thing Works

Needed a charger for doorbell because the orignal wiring in the 78 year old home was gone and rewire for a doorbell seemed excessive. With the solar charger, the bell is now at zero battery loss. But don't expect to live vis all day.

No need to charge as much

I knew when buying this that it's not a permanent solution to the battery dying, however I don't need to charge my Ring doorbell nearly as much as I used to. Would recommend if your Ring doorbell gets a lot of sun.

Nice add on for the ring

Mounts in same footprint as the ring, doorbell fits in it correctly, seems to keep the ring charged without me doing anything
