This is the 3rd time I have put up this tent and I love it. Based on previous reviews I knew taking a few precautions would make it better. 1st Apply white duct tape to every connection for the top frame. 2nd I purchased stronger rope and metal stakes for more support against wind. I feel that I have gotten my money's worth.

For $100 it was a great buy! It was great for shade and shielding us from the wind and bugs!

We purchased it and set it up before our event to ensure all pieces were included. We did not find any problems and the instructions were simple to understand. I did read reviews and used white 3m tape to secure the tube/pipe connections. The day of the event was windy with light rain and it held up very nicely with all doors/windows installed. Inside the tent we were actually dry and warm. After the event we did find two Velcro straps had come off, this occurred after our event since we left it up through the night and disassembled the next morning. This affected a corner but I used it at the park on a good day and used a little more 3m tape to secure the corner. I guess at this point for $80 bucks I got my money’s worth (renting a party tent was going to cost me $150/day.

Honestly, if you reinforce the joints with tape and use sand bags as you would with any canopy this tent is wonderful. My husband and his friend put up in under an hour IN THE DARK . It was actually a decently windy day 15-30 mph winds with 40 mph gusts and it held up fantastic I also think this tent would hold up for more than just one use. We can’t wait to use it for our next event. I don’t understand all the bad reviews I think it’s all in the preparation and willingness to take a few extra minutes to properly secure this tent.

I absolutely loved this tent for the price. I was looking for something cheap to get the job done. This tent did just that. It was easy to assemble. My husband and I did it in about 1 hour. We used it for our son 1st birthday party. We used stakes to give extra security. During our party it rained a little and the rent held up. I don't understand why all the bad reviews. The instructions are not so detailed but it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. I will definitely purchase this tent again

PUT IT UP TODAY WITH 15MPH WIND AND DIDNT EVEN BUDGET!!! VERY NICE FOR THE PRICE. AS LONG AS YOU SET IT UP RIGHT YOU SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH IT. AWESOME TENTThis is a bad ass tent. It is 100 bucks, its not a storm shelter. If you put this up without checking the weather, your an idiot. Its meant to provide shade and a nice night time atmosphere. It took us about 30 minutes to put it up. We did tape the seems where the pipes connect for more stability. Just after we finished putting it up. It rained. It rained hard. I live in Tampa Florida. We know rain! about 10-15 mpg gusts. We rolled the side walls up. We had already weighted the legs down prior with bag weights and dumbbell weights along with some camping spike ( The spikes they give you will not suffice) The tent held up great. No one drop of water underneath. The side walls are just Velcro on. If you expect this is to withstand 20-25 mph gusts you are not very smart. Go buy a heavy duty aluminium tent for around 600-700 bucks. This tent was great.

Turned out amazingly. Key things to know: Must purchase white duct tape and by all means get the canopy tent weight sand bags (it will fly away otherwise). Cheaper than renting (looked into that, and saved myself $150). Have at lease 3 people help with setting up. And if you can tie it down, by all means do it!!!

This is the perfect tent. I followed the advice given by others and duct taped the joints. I knew going into this that it wasn't a high quality tent, thin plastic sides. I put it up on a very windy day and it almost blew away. So i was able to zip tie it to a fence along one side. The other side I used the stakes and some weights. It was pretty windy, but it stayed. It looked great. As soon as we we're done I took off the tarp cause I didn't want it to rip. We even put a heater in it. Worked great, looked great. Should get a couple more uses out of it, which is way cheaper than renting.

Had very little trouble setting this up. Use the duct tape recommended by other reviews just for extra security. It took 3 to set up and was ready in 45 minutes. Looked fantastic. Held up without issue for my daughter's lakeside wedding reception. I thought it was great and had many compliments on it. And a lot of "where did you buy this". I have no regrets or dissatisfaction with this. Highly recommend.
