Finally replaced my favorite slicer
I have had a favorite slicer for nearly 10 years. It was another brand (bought before I found Dalstrong) and is a very well known and pricey brand... all steel, little black dots on the handle... I have been looking to replace it because as of 3 years ago it is just worn out... beyond really being useful any longer. In that time I have tried at least 5 major brands and have had less than stellar results. Finally someone got it right. While I don't care for that other brand, they got one knife right... and now I have found one that is not only as good, but better. The other one was no where near as well balanced, making it easy to get consistent and even slices.. The handle didn't feel quite as good - like all my dalstrong knives, this one feels like it belongs in your hand. The blade is perfectly shaped as a slicer and can get you the thinnest slice you need, and can stand up to the thickest most difficult cuts you need to make.. Bone in, roasts, fish, poultry, anywhere you would use a scalloped edge slicer, you can use this guy with better results.

Superb Quality
Got this for $39 and thinking this must be an intro offer. Very impressive German craftmanship, forged right on par with my higher end Wusthoff knives. Even comes in a classy case and includes a protective plastic sheath. 58 Rockwell blade comes very sharp. This blade is very long.
