Awsome product! I've watched alot of videos of how to sterilize menstrual cups and this is the most efficient! I pop some distilled water in, put the cup in,press the on button, hop it the tub or shower an its that simple. No chemicals no boiling in a pot. Its not much bigger than my wax warmer. I wish I'd know about pixie products sooner! I'm loving all their products and actually look forward to that time of the month!

First, let me say, I feel like the product description was describing me to a T. My husband is okay with my menstrual cup usage as long as he doesn’t see it or hear about it. Then we have a 13 year old son who is very curious about everything, so I have had to boil my cup early morning or late at night to avoid him grabbing it and asking about it (because 13 year olds simply have to touch everything they see). Before first use it recommends steaming without the cup three times. The steamer is smaller than I expected (which is great for storage) and very light weight. It calls for purified water, and luckily I already have distilled water on hand. I felt silly at first because it calls for 5 mL of water and I didn’t realize that the measuring line was on the lid, not the steamer itself. So you can use the lid to measure out the water and pour into the base. There are two super light measuring lines on the inside of the lid for 5 and 10 mL. I didn’t realize how little 5 mL is actually. The first time I put water into it and plugged it in, the button was already pressed. I think it must have gotten pressed during shipping, but no big deal, it started right away and then after the cycle finished the light turned off and a little bit later the button popped back out. The instructions say that the button will pop out when the unit is cool enough to handle. I think that’s a nice feature. It’s completely quiet and works quickly and there are no smells to be worried about (I had already washed my cup with some cleanser, so this was just the sanitizing step). I put my cup bag in its bag after maybe 30 minutes and then set the lid on it’s side to dry. There is a nice cloth included that I used to wipe out the little bit of water that was left when I went to put the steamer away. I don’t know that I’d use it to dry my cup for fear of introducing new germs, but it worked great for the steamer. Overall, very happy with this product. I am thrilled to not have to dance around my boys’ schedules to do this in the kitchen.

I’ve been using menstural cups for several years now and I love them! However, the hassle of trying to keep them properly clean means boiling water and letting them soak for 15/20 minutes.. a bit tough when you’re needing your cup. This product has been a game changer! Fast and convenient! I take my cup out and sanatize while showering in the morning and it’s ready when I get out. Cleans 99.9% of germs. I actually also use to clean adult toys that will fit. Just a bonus use! Anyone using a cup should totally have!

After getting hooked on using the Pixie Cup, cleaning became a big concern for me. The wipes that came with the cup were great, but I read online that boiling the cup is a great way to clean it. But honestly, actually boiling it kind of scared me because I didn’t want to let it touch the bottom of the pot and possibly melt. (Plus I wanted a dedicated little pot used ONLY for cleaning my cup.) This steam sterilizer makes cleaning my Pixie Cup an absolute breeze! You just put a little water in it, put your cup in stem up, attach the lid and plug it in and the process is over in no time. Directions say to fill it to the 5ml line but the line is a little hard to see and doesn’t say “5ml” on it. The line is down there though and it’s a very small amount of water needed. It honestly cannot get any easier to clean my cup now and I absolutely love these products! Also, I trust steam sterilizing more than I trust boiling my cup. I work in the OR and we steam sterilize the instruments used in surgery so I know for a fact that steam sterilizing is an AMAZING way to clean things. I highly, highly suggest this steam sterilizer. Trust me, it will make your time of the month that much more simple and worry free. :)

The Hz is wrong for American plugs. It does not have the holes in the plugs as most American products do. The Wattage is fine. See photo. Since the Hz is wrong, I watched it in case of over heating. It did fine but I recommend keeping an eye on it. It took FOREVER for it to heat up though and the button was already pushed in. The button does not press in and if it’s already pressed in. Overall, it’s amazing. I definitely feel that the cups I used are clean. Of course I cleaned the cups with antibacterial soap before and after.

I love everything about this family owned company! I have purchased my menstrual cup, cup wash, and wipes from them. All are excellent products! However, after about a year and some heavy flows, my cup smelled like death. I did everything I could on my end to get rid of the smell, but that scent still remained. I’m so happy that they made this! It’s so cute and gets the job done. After using this one time, the smell is completely gone!

Absolutely LOVE this this product. I typically boil my cups on the stove to sterilize them. I recently have been diagnosed with a psuedotumor in Ceribri so I have had to drive 9 hours away from home, two states away for treatment and I stay for days at a time. Because of this sterilizer I have been able to keep my cups clean and usuable!! It is so light weight and easy to carry with me. It is easy to use and easy to prep for use. It is small and easy to store. I have been able to use it on all my cups (dive, pixie, and bodybay). It is affordable and way better than boiling on the stove. Highly recommend this machine, especially if you travel!

First and foremost: I love my cup. The only problem I had was that to boil it, I would end up forgetting as I just don’t have the time (7 minutes, I know, but still) to babysit it in the pot of boiling water, and it would get washed, but sanitizing would be late. With this? The last used day the cup was washed with a mild soap, sterilized, and popped into its cotton bag for the next use. I almost want to take everything out to use the sterilizer a few more times. It has a full line for the water in the topper—though it is a little difficult to see in the lighting I had it in. I keep a bottle of purified water with it in its storage and it’s a matter of seconds from pulling it out to hitting the start button for the cup to get sterilized. After it sits in the 20 minutes of steam once the short 3 minute part is done... it’s just really made it so much easier to ensure my cup is clean and good to go without it requiring a lot of other components. Only concern I would have is the button feeling like it might get stuck “on” or in a weird way, but it’s been pretty sturdy so far. Love it.

I swear my cup is noticeably smaller than it was before I used this. I just wanted something to help me sterilize my cup, and I was excited to get this, especially since that time is right around the corner. It’s easy to use, fairly quiet, and works well, but it shrunk my cup. Is it made to only use pixie cups? Because the cup I’m using is a saalt cup, which has served me well for almost a year. Will this shrink any cup I put in it? Have I wasted my money? Edit: the seller has contacted me and offered me a full refund, although I was willing to accept a partial one, since this product hasn’t shrunk the replacement cup I ended up buying. They were very swift and friendly with their response. I’m quite satisfied with the sterilizer and the service

Just received this yesterday and did the 3 steam cycles without a cup inside and am sanitizing my cups now. Cleaning on stovetop is not an option for me, I had been using a microwaveable cup designed for menstrual cup cleaning that was not working for me either. Granted, I've only had the steamer for a day but I've already successfully sanitized 2 of my cups (steaming the 3rd one now). The steamer is easy to use although the button is a little hard to press in and I wish the lid screwed on. I love the size of the steamer, I was expecting it to be bigger (even though I read the description). I was pleasantly surprised at how compact it is. The price is expensive for me (because I'm cheap) but keeping my cups clean is a necessity so ultimately worth it. This definitely makes keeping my cup clean easier, I would recommend this to anybody who uses a cup/disc. ***Update*** OCT 2020- 10 months later and still working perfectly. I sanitize 2 different cups at the beginning and end of each period (and sometimes during). My cups stay clean and I've stayed healthy/no infections. Still recommend this product!
