Great battery at a reasonable price! !!!

I needed a replacement battery for my Samsung Galaxy 5 because the old one was about 2 years old (a sunzos battery that I purchased to replace the original) and was not holding a charge very long anymore. In fact it started getting warm when I was charging it and would go dead in 4 hours of stand by time. I figured it had worked well for 2 years so why not get one from the same place again. I ordered it around Christmas and it took longer to arrive then I hoped for and luckily I had the original Samsung battery to put back in for about 2 weeks until the new one arrived. I opened the package and read the directions thrn installed it and left it charge. It now lasts all day even if I am playing games, talking, or texting all day, and if it's just on stand by it will go much longer. I am very happy with the sunzos batteries I've purchased over the years. I just wish the new phones had replaceable batteries!!! It's for that reason I will not upgrade from this phone!!!

So Far, So Good

I've had this battery for a couple months now. The original factory one that came w/ my phone was 2 years old & no longer lasting a full day, so I decided to get this battery instead of buying a new phone. So far, it's working as well as expected. Battery life improved for the first month, but I've already noticed that it's not as much as it was straight out of the box, so it's degraded some. Weigh the pros & cons before deciding to buy. For me, this was a cheap option to extend the life of my phone before investing in a new one.

What can I say? Before purchasing this replacement battery, our son's old phone couldn't make it through a morning without needing to be charged. With this one, the phone once again gets a number of days on standby, and can even provide a full day of regular use.

A breath of fresh air

I had the original Samsung battery in my Galaxy S5 for almost 4 years. Then it started draining far too fast. The battery wouldn't even last a work day. So I did a little research, read a few reviews and decided to go with Sunzos. This battery rocks! The battery lasts all day even with bluetooth on and using several apps. I don't have to hurry to get my phone on the charger as soon as I get off of work, and I don't have to put my phone on airplane mode to make sure the battery lasts all day. I can use my phone the way I need to without worry the battery is going to drain within a couple hours. If you need a new battery and you're on the fence about which to go with, I'd look no further than this one. The battery lasts for a long time and the seller contacts you to make sure you're happy with your purchase. Good product AND great customer service? Yes please! They even give you instructions on how to get the most life from your battery. I'll buy from them again the next time I need to replace a battery for my phone.

COULDN'T BE HAPPIER!!!

I purchased this to replace a failing OEM battery for my Galaxy S5. Unable to purchase a Sumsung original, I researched alternative options and decided on this based on reviews. I followed all instructions and fully charged and deleted the battery several times. With my typical use it took 2 FULL DAYS often with deliberate battery eating uses (video with max volume) to fully deplete the battery. I don't recall the original ever being quite so long lasting. I love my S5 and will continue to use it until I am no longer able. I am very adverse to the notion of a cell phone without a removal battery. There are so many things that are easily fixed by removing the battery to reset the phone! Not offering the option of a removable battery on a cell phone seems like a conspiracy to continually force consumers to upgrade. I hope they continue to manufacture this battery. I'm considering buying a backup just in case.

Perfect Replacement

The old S5 battery was swollen, and would not hold a charge for more than an hour or so. This was the perfect drop-in replacement, and works flawlessly. Holds a charge better than the original.

Ordered this sunzos battery for my mom . She has a galaxy s5 phone , but seems something wrong with orginal battery. She needs to charge the several times a day with the old battery , so I ordered this battery for my mom .The battery works well on her phone and hold a charge very well . She was very happy that she happy that she don't need to charge her phone again and again. Very nice product .

Decent battery, Good purchase

No battery replacement really stood out for the Samsung S5 phone, so I tried this. The battery manufacturer recommended doing a discharge and recharge to 100% two to three times. I found a discharge app that ran down the battery to 12% before completing the conditioning cycle by charging to 100%. Did this twice and the battery has been rock solid since.

Great buy

It was for my wife and got her to stop complaining about her phone. When your wife stops complaining, it feels good. Samsung S5 pop it in and it works like New plus some.

Great s0 far

Waited a week before reviewing, just in case it died a premature death. It did not, and is still going strong after several days use. I was a little afraid of buying this "off brand" battery, especially since it is rated at 3200 mha instead of the OEM 2800 mha, and was (at least when I bought it) a little less expensive than the OEM. However, glad I took the chance. Works well, charges well, and does seem to last longer with the higher energy capacity.
