An educator friend of mine gave this to me as I began my first year of homeschooling. This calendar is amazing; it has a full month-calendar with ample room to write in notes and dates and plans. THEN it had larger areas in the pages behind to be more detailed in. I just received this, my second planner, and have already entered all the dates and plans I know of in to it. WONDERFUL for any busy lady!

Favorite new brand of planner!

I buy a new planner every year! Ages ago I took to academic planners and even as an adult, I prefer that my planner ends in June rather than in January. I have typically bought At-A-Glance brand planners but in particular felt that this year their online assortment just didn't have what I was looking for. I took a chance on a Blue Sky planner since they seemed simple in nature and had positive reviews. For whatever reason, this particular 8x11 planner was listed for only $10 so I thought I'd take a chance on it. Now that I've seen it in person, I gladly would pay $20 for it in years to come. It's 100% comparable to what I have been using and I'm happy to have found a new brand that has a large selection of designs and is easily available on amazon!

Cute, Affordable, Sturdy!

This is a really good planner for the price point (I ordered the 8 by 11 size). Its affordable and well made. It comes with an external plastic cover that is somewhat frosted over its actual cover, which I like as it adds a layer of protection as well as sturdiness to the planner itself. It provides sheets for information such as Contact Information for your personal information, and notes, numbers, and goals, A page for important dates for each month, and each month is proceeded by pages providing large spaces for each day of the month to write in followed by your stereotypical calendar lay out. All of it is lightly lined so you can keep handwriting neat and straight if you struggle with that, whilst the layout remains neat and uncluttered. The back contains a long list of holidays both minor and major and their dates even up to 2 years past what this planner goes to, and of course is closed off with the same protective harder plastic like whats over the front cover. It goes from July of 2019 up until June of 2020. The Spiral is not flimsy and does not bend easily or get stuck like some spiral bindings will do, pages seen sturdy and not prone to tearing, and tabs are clear and defined so going from month to month is easy peasy lemon squeezy! I bought this spiral bound planner to organize my work life as I share a work space with another employee, We’re part time and split the week between us so share EVERYTHING in our work space which can become stressful when you don’t see eye to eye with one another and when they cover things you do up with their own via sticky notes or white out and just go over it. Not very harmonious! So to combat that she gets to have the desk calendar and I’ll bring my own and honestly I prefer this method because if I need to jot down something personal I can without her being nosy and getting into my business. I started to go for the smaller version but I felt it may be to compact for the amount of things I have in my day to day life (photos above show blank or near blank months not yet filled in for privacy reasons). I feel with some jumbo color coded paperclips and some cute tape and some fun paper to make pockets this could be a full out organizational system for myself and possibly you as well! I’ve seen many reviews with people stating dates were wrong, or not in the right slots or something was just off, and that nearly turned me off from buying this. I’m glad it didn’t because they obviously got a bad batch, there is not a thing wrong with this planner! I checked it front cover to back cover and all is good in this neighborhood. If you need a planner even if its just to keep track of simple day to day life things, go for it! Get this baby because its a cute little bundle! Its simple, its clean, and its affordable! It can go with you wherever and you can’t go wrong with it. Its near perfect to go in my bag simply sticks out the top a bit but that’s no biggie.

I love planners and always struggle to find one when mine is running out. I've gotten blue sky the past few years and am very satisfied. I love their layout and the quality of the entire planner is great - it lasts me all year without breaking/falling apart. It also has decent paper so when I use my fun pens/markers, it doesn't bleed through. Would highly recommend this!

Love this planner

I love this planner! I prefer the larger size, as I like to write daily tasks with checkboxes as I complete them. I also like that there is a nice protective cover, as I carry it in my purse where its jostled around with other items throughout the day-it's keeping it's shape and quality quite nicely!

Surpasses my expectations

It was just delivered yesterday and I can’t wait until Monday to start planning the coming academic year. We buy customized academic planners for our honors students. Now I can use this for planning and scheduling all of our events in one place. In the past few years I have used excel and word so am thrilled to have this planner. Now I can be a super planner.

It works for me. I have bought this planner for the last 7-8 years. It's one of the few Academic calendars that I like. It has a semi hard plastic cover which makes it durable on its own. I have a faux leather cover that I purchased years ago and it fits in it nicely for added protection.

Perfect planner!

This is even more lovely in person! So much space to write, and well laid out. I really appreciate how there’s ample room to write down multiple events etc in both the monthly look and individual day spaces. It’s also very sturdy with a heavy plastic covers, and tabs. I will buy again next year.

Wonderful as usual!

I use a Blue Sky academic planner every school year and I am always happy with them! I work in K-12 Education as a technology staff member. I need spaces to put my "to-do's" each day and write in items that come up that need to be taken care of. I also use these to put my personal appointments, etc in as well. I love the size because so I can carry it around in my purse & schedule/write things down when outside of the office. Perfect!
