Make life easier ever

So far so good! It’s been using for twice a day for 5 weeks, still no need for charging the battery. Make my life easier than ever which is never needing to ask if family members feeding the fish yet or not. But one thing for reminder thos, the opening for dropping the flakes needed to be wider than 10 cm without any obstacle, otherwise, the flaks would drop somewhere on the lid not in the tank. By the way, I just leave it free standing on top of the lid and it works fine without moving an inch. I took one point of from easy use just because even follow the instructions, it still took me awhile to figure how to operate it correctly. The trick is after setting the time and how many drop time, u need to double hitting the set button to ensure the setting is reserved. Other than this complicated setting, it’s very easy to use.

Had one before that took batteries and was double the size. This one is much better. Great design

Trustworthy feeder

I purchased this automatic feeder just prior to leaving on vacation. It was simple to set up, program, and even do a couple manual rotations to make sure it released enough food for my two fish. There were no issues and know I can trust it when I leave on another adventure.

It works as intended

I had to buy this product because I had to leave for a few days without anybody to take care for my fish tank, I tested for 3 three days before leaving and it did its job very well. Just by adjusting the timing, rotation times and the little door for dispensing food it deliver just the right amount of food, very pleased with this product.

Feeder rotates

This thing works great. I don't have to worry on feeding. It needs AA battery and rotates.

Seems to work great!

I have this on a 60 gallon aquarium and so far it's working great! It's easy to program, holds a lot of food, and is easy to adjust how much food you want to dispense. So far I have only used flake food in it, but it's handling it just fine. I can't speak to the battery life because I've only had it on for a few weeks, but so far it still shows full battery life. I saw another reviewer who said they had two of these on their tank. I think that's a great idea and I will probably do the same. I can have each do one feeding a day, but the benefit would be that if one did clog up, or the battery failed while I'm out of town, the fish will still get fed. I'm not expecting a problem, but I'd sure hate for the fish to starve in case something did happen. But I love it. I decided to use it as the everyday feeder, and not just when I'm out of town. I like to keep consistency with the tank.

Simple and reliable

It may be difficult to get the quantity of food right where you want it, but the design and setup is wonderful. Easy to configure and hasn't missed a feeding (that i know of). Easy to refill. Easy to configure. The rechargeable battery makes me feel better about the environment. With this device I love that I'm able to leave my 1yr old in the crib for longer than 3 days at a time. Sure the stench is appalling but he's fed.

Ease of use

I liked everything the setting were easy compared to the last feeder I bought. The turn off feature is a good thing as we only use these when we are away for several nights. Also the feed adjustment was so much simpler than the last and it holds more food. I like the rechargeable part also but will not keep plugged in all the time. Would give more stars if there was more

Best feeder I have bought so far with a catch

Good well built materials. Electronics interface is easy to use. USB charging saves battery cost. Finishing is beautiful. Opportunities to improve in future could be: an optional led with chime to notify both owners and fishes about meal time. Smartphone interface capabilities. Load different type of food on the same time schedule etc. CONS: This is a product meant for fish but cannot sustain any accidental drop in water. An internal drying fan for foods to be crisp or dry out accidental water sipping in would be great. Atleast the rechargeable battery should be shielded from water damage.

Better than Eheim, good for koi and turtle food.

I find this better than the Eheim (I’ve had two). It has a larger capacity 175 cc which works well with larger pellets that get stuck in some feeders. I also find it much easier to program. It is easier to fill because you can either remove the whole drum or simply slide a section of the drum open and add food. When you fill the Eheim, you have to shut the dispensing control which means you have to reset it. On this one you don’t have to reset anything when filling. The battery is a rechargeable lithium battery that comes with a usb cable. Another nice feature is the feeder will rotate on its screw attachment base.
