Color matching, Great coverage, Very affordable

I have a very difficult time finding a foundation that matches my complexion. I stumbled upon this product and when I saw that the price was less than most drug store foundations, I decided to give it a shot. I wasn't very optimistic because I've tried many true match and color changing foundations before with little success, but this was the first time I've ever seen a single foundation that claimed to match any tone. I was very excited for it to get here and try it out. This foundation is white when it goes on; I decided if it didn't work as well as it claimed that I could still use it as a primer. However, sure enough as I rubbed it in the color began to change. It did match my completion very well. I suggest using your fingers to apply as it didn't change as well using a sponge, but if you have a hard time color matching your foundation I highly recommend purchasing this product. I decided to experiment and applied it to my boyfriends wrist (he has a darker complexion) and both of us were amazed that it also changed to match his skin color. I often find that many foundations leave an orange-ish tint to my skin after they set, but I had no such issue with this. I was able to complete my normal routine (primer with powder to set) and I was extremely impressed with the coverage and how well it held up. I would say this is a medium to full coverage foundation. It's not heavy and it didn't crack or wear off. I read in the reviews prior to purchase that it was a bit greasy, but I did not experience that issue. If you apply too much I can see this being an issue, but if you apply it the correct way it won't be an issue. I was so pleasantly surprised at how well this foundation performed and have made it the primary foundation I use. I don't believe I'll go back to any others. For the price, you can't go wrong. This matched far better than foundations I've purchased at Ulta and Sephora and spent much more money for. I can't believe that such an affordable product works so well. If you have difficulty finding a foundation that matches your skin tone, I highly recommend purchasing this product and giving it a try.

Fits great in my makeup routine; not magic, but I like it alot!

I think the reviews are widely varied on this product because it is dependent on the user's expectations and what type of makeup they like. I am a "minimal" makeup kind of girl. I want something light, non-greasy, easy to put on fast and stay on all day. I generally use a BB cream and dust with a translucent, slightly tinted powder. The BB cream I've been using has a gap in shades and I was frustrated trying to find a good color match. I stumbled across this and thought that although a "color changing foundation" sounded a little too good to be true, it sounded similar to a product the Body Shop makes (color-adapting all in one bb cream) which I wanted to like, but was too thin and greasy for me. So, I've been using this product every day for a week. Here are my thoughts: -nice texture, thick (sort of a sun-screen consistency) and moisturizing (its winter skin season) -absorbs into skin easily, doesn't leave a greasy feel -smells nice, sort of floral (and I usually shy away from overly scented products-this is pleasant) -feels light on skin, not heavy, don't feel like I'm wearing a "makeup mask" Coverage is where I think expectations will influence the range of reviews. This isn't magic makeup, it isn't going to make you look like you have flawless skin by itself. Its a light coverage, that puts down a nice base. It does exactly what I like, blends into my skin perfectly (no makeup line) and with a quick dusting of powder, I'm ready to go!

Best if used as a concealer

I like this under my regular foundation. Being that I am a more caramelized hue, it does not blend to my color. It leaves a somewhat ashy appearance if left by itself however, I do love the smell and the texture. It is moisturizing and helps create more coverage. I can't complain for the price point. Its great as a concealer.

I'm in love with this foundation it makes my skin look and feels beautiful. I love that I can wear it by itself or if I want a more glam look I can use it with another foundation to have my skin look smoother.
