Amazing laptop for the price! Nice keyboard as well. Very happy

Ordered 4 for my parents business to have some inexpensive laptops and couldn’t be happier. Super light (way lighter than an iPad with pelican case), super long battery life, ok browsing speed for a great price. I ended up ordering an other one just to keep it at home for whatever...

Compared to all the laptops which I have owned previously, this little one has the best value. It is light to carry around and perfect for browsing and doing some works. It came with Windows S mode that could be switched out to Windows 10 (make sure that you have updated with Microsoft Store to do this). In S mode, you can't install Apps or software outside of the store). Yes, 32GB HD is not a lot of space and you do need to be mindful about storage usage. It is easy to monitor storage usage with the Windows Storage tool. After uninstalling most games and unwanted apps/software, performing updates and installing Office 365, I still have about 10GB free space. With microSD expansion, storing files is really not an issue. Although I have used Chrome browser in the past, I find using Edge to be smoothier and faster than Chrome on this laptop. Keyboard is easy and nice to type. The laptop starts fast and the fully charged battery lasts about 8-9 hours. Overall, I am impressed and could not be happier with this purchase. Come on - for about $150, I could get pretty much what I need to do on all the laptops I have owned in the past. This is my impression and experience after having it for two days and I will update if necessary.

I liked the features and the speed of it ………………...

I first have to stress what this laptop is, and what it’s not! This laptop is meant to be used for simple apps (such as Microsoft word.), and internet browsing. This laptop isn’t meant for playing games, or for using intense apps such as adobe after effects. Now on to my review!!! I couldn’t be more happy with my purchase, I got this laptop for taking notes. The laptop runs smoothly, especially when you consider the specs. Now the Keyboard does feel a bit cheap, but that’s my only complaint. I’m impressed that this laptop has an hdmi port, along with two USB ports. I did a video stress test, and to my surprise it was able to render 4K resolution, however the video does stall and get choppy, but 1080 HD is all you need!!! I highly recommend this laptop if you are tight with a budget. You get a lot out of it, and for such a great deal!!!

PROs: + Battery life (about 7-8 hours) + lite weight, handy + starts quickly + Windows 10s lets less malware in. CONs: - I’ve heard the 32GB SSD hard drive is not enough for a general use laptop; however, for my needs (web surfing, writing documents) it is perfect. - Getting use to Windows 10s application restrictions (can’t install regular versions of MS Office, need to buy the App version; also I can’y install my normal VPN software).

I AM LOVING IT! I've first been intrigued to purchase by the price of this laptop and somewhat disappointed when I first started using it, but the more I used it the more I fell in love with it. For the most part this laptop is a perfect secondary computer for web browsing, simple word processing, and video streaming. It was exactly what I was looking for. I like how it's ultraportable so I don't have to lug my heavier laptops with me when I'm on the go. It's also budget friendly so it's not too hard on the wallet if anything were to happen. More importantly it runs full Windows (comes with S Mode, but you can switch to full Windows 10 Home for free) so it's more capable than my ipad in some aspects. It's also decked out with the latest I/O ports USB 3.0 and USB-C. Yes it only has 32GB of storage, but I added a micro SD card so storage isn't a problem. Don't be scared by the 2gb of RAM, it's enough given Window's excellent management of memory. The new N4000 processor is slick compared to the slow N3060 it replaced. It's overall a very zippy computer and I won't let it leave my commuter backpack! Definitely recommend this awesome machine!

I purchased this computer because it was cheap. My goal was to install and learn Linux with it. The thing that has impressed me the most is the battery life. I have used it for ten to twelve hours a day for the last week and I only have to plug it in while I am sleeping. It also performs all of the basic functions of a much higher priced computer flawlessly. I surf the internet, watch videos, check email, and make presentations without complaint. The size and weight of this computer also make it very convenient to take everywhere. The biggest limitation with this computer is the hard drive size (32GB) which I work around by storing all media files and documents on a micro SD card. This is a good computer.

Really like this laptop. Small, light and looks great. Hardest part of setting up the computer was turning it on. Found my network and found my wireless printer with no issues. About two hours to bring it to a full charge and I was off and running to the great network in the sky. Early days yet but very happy after day 1.

So I worked at Best Buy for like a year as a computer sales rep. It was my job to figure out what machine worked to who based on the things they wanted to achieve. Having this laptop about a week in, I have to say this little thing is amazing. It has its response issues, it's a Celeron. I didn't say it could do anything. You won't game or edit videos, you'll struggle using photoshop or even playing Minecraft I'm sure. But everyone could make use of a laptop like this. It's small, light, quick, the trackpad and keyboard are high quality (what you would expect from Asus). No one doesn't browse the internet or type things out, and for those things it's perfect. Paired with the ability to upgrade the storage indefinitely with a micro SD card or use cloud storage? Super powerful machine for the price. For comparison, I also have a $1,500 ROG from 2018 and a MacBook Pro with the TouchBar, I have a few desktops, and ultimately I can still find use from this little guy. 10/10 would buy again. Actually, I might too.
