high quality!

a year and a half ago I bought my MacBook pro and the market for these expansion port adapters was just getting started. I bought an $80 device which proved serviceable, but clunky and certainly NOT very stylish or convenient to use. It didn't take long for the cable to come apart and the plug was so loose that I couldn't keep a connection. So I finally had to break down and find something else. Bought this for half price and it is as slick as a whistle! Love it!

Good quality, easy to use, and conveniently small

The product arrived in good condition. Overall, the product is easy to use, compact, and feels durable. I'm mainly using this for my Switch but this also works with Macbooks and other devices that support USB-C input. There is labeling on the bottom of the adapter which tells you which port is which. There is a LED light indicator that tells you if it's on and being used. It's also small enough to fit in my Switch bag, which comes in handy so that I don't have to bring the dock with me everywhere I go. The cord and material is very durable which should last awhile. Overall, I'm pleased with the product.

Very affordable hub, packed with all kinds of ports

Best part of this hub is, it's all the ports one need with exception of thunderbolt 3, which is desired for mac users, but considering price tag, I forego that. I have had this for over week and very happy with it. It does run bit hot when used for long hours for work, whic seems to be common with similar hubs I have used, but no hiccups though. Build quality is good, but can be improved by adding ventilation in order to dissipate the heat.

Appears to be all that it claims to be

This is the second dock that I purchased for use with my new MacBook Pro 13". The first one I purchased from another vendor had issues, such as not consistently having USB flash drives or the HDMI port be recognized. I did some looking on Amazon and found this one at about 1/3 the price I paid for my other dock. What I like about this one is that it has plenty of ports (a total of 5 USB type A ports, two of which are USB3.0), two SD card ports, plus a USB-C for USB-C devices, a USB-C power input port (up to 87W), and a 4K HDMI port. Compared to the other dock, I gave up a network port and a VGA port, neither of which is a show stopper. When I unboxed this device and connected it to my computer, I started plugging in things. Right now I have: Apple USB-C power cable; 2 SD cards; 1 USB-C flash drive; 2 USB type A flash drives; an external HDD for my Time Machine backup; and a USB hub with an ethernet port and wireless receiver for my wireless mouse. As I plugged things in they all were recognized and accessible. This device is a little smaller than my first dock, and about the same weight. Construction and quality look really good. So, my first impressions are very positive and I give this an unqualified recommendation. Ray from WI

It helps me transfer data in different ways easily and I can carry it to anywhere. It makes my lfe much better. Now, I alwayas keep it in my backpack.

Must have tool

This is a nice little addition to any MacBook. Unfortunately, they didn’t add a lot of stuff to our laptops so this is a crucial tool. All of the connectors are quality, and well made. Great for working from home or on the go because it’s not heavy.

Great product

This product works great. I bought it as an adapter to use for the Nintendo switch, in place of the big dock. I wanted something more portable, and being able to use the gamecube controllers in hand held mode. This does everything the dock can, and more, as it has 5 USB ports. This also has the ability to turn your galaxy phone (i have the S8) into DEX mode, which is the desktop version of your phone which can connect to an HDMI monitor with a mouse and keyboard. For what it does, it does everything great as an all in 1 product.

Small and versitile

This device has been great. It came in a thin box that fits well in my computer bag and briefcase. It allows me to only have a single adaptor vs. the hundreds it feels you need thanks to Apples new USB-C only Macbook pro's. The things we do when we are apple fans.

Covers All Your Needs In One In Port

I just love this product. I fits all my needs for my Mac Book Pro. Since I have the C port this is great for my USB ‘s and SD cards, I even hooked up my montitor via HDMI, I really like the fact that there’s 2 SD cards slots because of late I’ve been using SC cards. This covers all your needs.
