No batteries needed! I love it!

This little thing is great! The clip is large enough to attach to my headboard so that I can read at night. It's also wide enough to sit upright on my nightstand if I choose to move it there. It can really go anywhere. I've even clipped it to my shirt one night when I didn't have a surface to place it on. It has three light settings (low, medium, and high) so that you can adjust depending on your liking. The low is perfectly fine for me and it doesn't disturb anyone else's sleep. The high gets very bright if you needed it to. You just tap the little square to turn it on and you keep tapping it to make the light brighter. I really love this thing. But the best part is that it's chargeable! No batteries needed! You just plug it into a USB thingy and it charges right up. The charge lasts a long time too.

I LOVE this reading lamp

I LOVE this reading lamp! I live on a sailboat in the Puget Sound, and live at anchor half the year. This light is perfect because I can charge it at work and it'll last me several nights at home on the boat. I use it primarily for crocheting and knitting once the sun goes down and the sailboat becomes a cozy, dark, cave-like space. This lamp is a good size and clips easily onto a variety of surfaces. The flexible chord moves very freely and smoothly, and stays in place perfectly. The light itself is a good size, and has 3 brightness settings, all of which I use. The touch on-off "button" has always worked without a hitch. What I love the most is that the light isn't harsh - my eyes don't become fatigued after extended use. It's a nice soft light that still gives enough light for me to do intricate stitch work. It's great for reading too. The USB charging cord comes with the light and plugs directly into a computer or into a wall USB adapter (I use the one for my iPhone). There is a little red light that shines through the casing next to the on-off "button" and it turns off automatically when the light is fully charged. Overall, I'm super happy with this light. It looks sharp and expensive, and is made of really comfortable materials. It is easy to move and manipulate and does exactly what I need it to...illuminate my little sailboat cave while I work on my crafty projects.

An absolute must have for all.

I got these after my son's visit to the eye doctor. If you want to protect your little one's eye sight then these are must have for any household with little readers. The battery lasts through out the night. I just turn it off in the morning. It's safe since it does not emit any heat. However, it's wise to unplug from the charger while in use. We are using it for about four weeks now and we're absolutely loving it. I would recommend it to anyone.

Finally, a Rechargeable Marvel!

Thank you for this light! I have been diagnosed with macular degeneration, so I require a great deal of light to read. I have purchased and repurchased many reading lights. They dim after awhile which makes them of very little help to me. I am enthused about the ability to recharge this light. I will use it on my music stand at home, at guitar lessons, at the Clavanova when I play for church, on my books at home and when I travel. Thank you very much! I look forward to using this for a long time. My only concern is that I was using a lamp next to me yesterday and set my pop down without looking where I placed it. Evidently, I bumped the LED reading light without realizing it and the light was on for awhile before I realized it. It might be just a bit too accommodating, but being able to recharge is amazing, so no problem.

Nice size and bright

I'm not using mines as a book light using it for my laptop. I don't need much light while i'm on my computer or a big desk lamp. This light is great and it's a touch light. 3 touches on the base for light levels: low, medium and high. clips fine onto my laptop and can sit on my desk. Comes with a USB cord for charging needs according to instructions has to be charged for 8 to 12 hours (12 hours its fully charged) before use and will last 24 hours on dim setting. Really nice clip lamp highly recommend it.

Affordable, quality bedside and reading light

I was looking for a bedside/reading light for 3 of my 4 kids for Christmas. I've been through multiple "regular" booklights, all of which have burnt out and fallen apart in short order, as well as a dimmable, clamping desk lamp that cost $30 and broke apart after a couple of months of regular use. So, my requirements for a new light were: 1) rechargeable. With multiple kids who tend to leave the light on after falling asleep, I can't be buying batteries x 3 or 4 on the regular; 2) dimmable. Brighter for reading, dimmer for ambient light; 3) sturdy and can stand up on its own (and, ideally, have a clamp option); and 4) AFFORDABLE, i.e., less than $15, seeing as I have multiple lights to buy. I'm so glad I found this light! The first thing I said when I pulled it out of the box was, "Wow, this is really nice!" It feels like it's a quality product. The design is sleek and simple, too. And it comes with a USB cable -- added value. The dimming button is a bit sensitive, but the 3 lighting strengths are perfect. Then, the ultimate test: Does it *really* work with a USB cable *with* the brick that plugs into the wall? And yay, it worked! I definitely recommend this light!

Perfect night reading light

This light is bright enough for me to read at night but doesn't impact my husband's sleep. The clip is also big enough to attach to the thick headboard of my bed so I don't have to worry about attaching it to whatever material I'm reading at the time.

Great Buy

This is a great buy...months later I still use it all the time and my kids often snag it for reading in bed too. I even bring it when we go on vacation anywhere.

Love this light but it doesn't hold its charge

Love this light but it doesn't hold its charge. So if I charge all night and unplug it it will loose its charge in a few hours.
