Lightweight!

I haven’t had a chance to really give this blower a good workout, but from what I have seen it’s a great little blower. First off it’s very lightweight. You won’t kill your shoulder using this blower. Second it’s battery powered, so you can get into areas you might not otherwise get to with a corded blower. I have a push gas powered blower, and that’s great for the yard in general, but those weird corners of the yard this battery blower is just what I need.

Love it!

I charged this up and used it to clear out leaves I had piled up on plants that were overwintering outdoors. It's plenty strong enough to get the leaves and small twigs out from under shrubs and those caught in the chain link fence. I love the freedom of not having a cord and being able to take this anywhere in the yard. It's lighter than the gas powered blowers. It's a lot more powerful the convertible blower that is part of my shop vac and again, no cord. I didn't know I needed this until I had it.

Great for blowing the deck, equipment

This little blower is super convenient for very effectively blowing off a deck, or blowing clean equipment or anything outdoors that collects dust. You don't even need to add the nozzles, and so it's crazy convenient. But know its limitation. This is not nearly as powerful (or loud) as a gas powered backpack blower -- don't expect to move a large mass of leaves with this.

Plenty of power!

I have been through about three battery powered blowers. This is my third and I've got enough experience with them to know what to expect. First, they are not going to be quite as powerful as a gas powered blower in most instances. But that's the tradeoff... you get a QUIETER, EASIER TO USE, and better for the environment blower and maybe a little less power and limited time before recharge. This WORX WG547 20V (2.0Ah) Cordless Battery Powered Turbine 2-speed Blower is great! It has PLENTY of power for blowing leaves. I saw that another reviewer did not find it to be powerful enough. Perhaps they have a defective model, a defective battery or a battery that was not charged fully? I can attest to the fact that this blower has plenty of power for blowing leaves. It will not move with the same power as a gas blower, but I haven't used a battery powered blower that will. For my needs, which is to blow the leaves in my relatively average neighborhood lawn and to clean up after mowing, this does the job. I get about 15-20 minutes of charge out of the battery before it gets low and needs to be recharged. It takes about 1 1/2 hours to recharge. Maybe 2 - I don't really check since I only use it one time. One great thing about this blower is that if you have any other WORX 20V tools, you can share the batteries and then you can go twice as long between charges. For a larger lawn, I would recommend getting another tool (don't buy a battery by itself, it is way too expensive - you are better off finding some other tool that uses the same battery and getting that tool, the charger for it and the battery for maybe $30 premium. This is especially good if you need another battery powered tool anyway. One big positive with the WORX WG547 is that it is very lightweight, even with the battery installed. You won't get tired carrying this around! The blower feels sturdy and well-made even though it is light. I have NO PROBLEM recommending this blower to anyone with a small to average lawn. Just realize it isn't going to be the same as a gas blower, but it isn't as heavy, messy, noisy and much of a hassle either. Five stars from me for sure!!! This really blows!!

I was looking for a blower that would clear leaves and debris off of my driveway and sidewalks, without the need for gasoline of electric cords. This blower does the job! It's very light weight, even with the battery attached, and does a decent job in a short amount of time. The blower is very quiet, and easy to store. It's extremely easy to use, and there's no hassle with power cords or fumes from gasoline. Please note that this blower is not for big jobs. It really doesn't have the power of a gas powered blower. But for my use it's a great tool to have in my arsenal!
