Fantastic introduction to making music!

We bought this for my 2.5 year old. He enjoys playing on it and it's fairly intuitive. I like that there are set/programmed songs as well as the option to just do 'free' play on the keyboard. What's interesting is that whenever my 6 year old nephew comes over, he'll play with it quite a bit and loves to talk in the microphone - so great for a range of ages.

Good starter piano

I got this as a starter introductory piano keyboard for my boys that are 5 and 3. The keyboard surprisingly has a good sound output for a toy. The recording/memory functionality is great. The mic is just okay as it doesn't pick up the audio but you get what you pay for. Overall, I'm happy with this keyboard, and it's a great way to determine if your child is interested in music so you can move into more professional equipment.

Amazing keyboard! Kids love it!!

I can’t say enough about this little keyboard! My two boys absolutely love it!! They have decided to be musicians just from playing on it a few days lol. My 7 year old has had me look up simple keyboard songs sheet music so that he can start teaching himself how to play it. So far it has a great battery life when charged, the sound quality is loud and clear, and all of the features are pretty great for a starter keyboard. Definitely exceeded my expectations! Great product thank you!!

nicer sound than usual baby toy sound

Has both real and electronic rhythm and melody potential. I hate the tinny sound of most baby toddler toys, this one has a deeper sound and a good range. And the rhythms, especially reggae, are real. Microphone is good for younger kids too. Only wish it had a little stand, but we can make one easily. Came quickly with regular mail.

This keyboard paino is really good. I order this paino to give it as a gift to my cousin. This is well designed with good speakers in it. The small mic give it more fun to kids. It’s awesome

Band for a child's hand

I was eager to find this kind of a keyboard that would be 'child-friendly' - it is ! my two year old granddaughter, who loves music, can find different tones and beats easily. The microphone is a plus for her 'performing'. The construction seems excellent, the surface cleanable and the size makes for easy storage. As she learns more about its operation I'm sure the toy will be enjoyed for more than a few years.

Great keyboard

Even though the other reviews mentioned this was for toddlers and older I bought the keyboard for my 6month old son. We saw he enjoyed playing a similar keyboard at daycare and wanted one for home. This is a terrific toy for him. The construction is durable and allows a 6mo old to "pound" pretty relentlessly and entertain him for a while. It has numerous different "instruments" and percussion beats. It even plays demo songs. Because he's only 6mo we removed the microphone and have not used it yet so I cannot comment on that feature. But this is a great keyboard for his age group and I'm sure much old kids as well.

Four chords and seven eight year olds...

This is a good sounding, portable electric keyboard for the young musician. It has a microphone , and it can connect to your phone or MP3 player. Does your big-boy keyboard have a button for dog, frog or duck? I didn't think so! You might end up jealous that your kid is cooler than you.
