OTA for the win!

These are refurbished units; but they look brand spanking new in the OEM boxes. I have three of them tucked away in my SMB just purring like kittens. They will work with the Samsung smart TV (Tizen OS), but the best user experience in on an Android platform. i.e. Shield.

Easy, Reliable, good purchase

Easy to set up and reliable. I haven’t had really any issues with this product. It was quick to set up - plug it in, go to the set up site, and you’ll be done in maybe 2-3 minutes if that. Easy to use - download the app, connect, and stream! Cons: Cannot watch when off your local network (re-broadcasting laws I guess - not the manufacturers fault) No Roku app for my tv. Fixed for issues: I use Plex Media Server with Plex Pass so the above two issues aren’t a problem for me - just something to note for anyone thinking about buying one of these. I use Plexs live TV feature to be able to connect with the streams provided by the home run and then I can watch the streams anywhere using the Plex app (which is available on my roku tv)

FREE STREAMING ON MY IPHONE FOR LOCAL CHANNEL

I rarely turn my TV. Streaming is more convenience. I have no cable but I have Netflix and Hulu. I miss my live local channels. This device works well for streaming and I got around 128 channels.
