This pool thermometer looks great in the pool and always has the accurate temperature. Our last thermometer went cloudy very quickly so we could not see the number anymore, but this one is still clear as can be. When we have our young nieces and nephews over they love to lay with it because of the fun shark on top. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Very cute pool thermometer

We've used this duck thermometer for about 6 months. We only throw it in the pool when we want to find out if the water is too cold to swim in. Other times we keep it out of the pool water and in storage. It hasn't discolored anywhere yet. We tested the thermometer reading against another pool thermometer, and it seems accurate. We're happy with this purchase.

Beware, it’s a thermometer

What’s to say, it’s a thermometer that looks like a duck. It tells the temp fine, I just wish it didn’t attract other fowl to my pool. I’m now up to 14 free range rubber duckies hanging out in my backyard. They’re starting to become aggressive and have twice nipped at my heels. I’m looking for a good relocation service as I now am afraid to go into the backyard

Too Cute! We Have Two Floating - Often Together

When the variable pool pump is bubbling the two ducks often dance with each other or follow each other. Really too cute to watch. The thermometer works too!

Dog toy

Yep. Put this in my pool and my Newfoundland dog thought it was her 'new' toy, and swam out to get it. Oiiieeee. I now have to put it under the pool steps to hide it. But it does work!

"Sharky's" still swimming - we love him!

Bought this little fellow 2 years ago, when we had a small Intex above ground pool. I have a dog that underwent surgery for a torn ACL, and we bought the pool and "Sharky" to help with her water rehab. Two years later, we have upgraded to a much larger, permanent pool, but "Sharky" is still swimming! (and so is my dog!) Temperature readings are consistent with the digital ones on our salt-system pump, and we are very happy with him. It's always fun to yell, "Shark in the pool!" and then point to this little fella!

Cool Duck

My wife loves ducks, and she loves this thermometer (and the matching chlorinator). Our first thermometer was broken, but the second one was in great shape (great return experience with Amazon, too!). My only complaint is that I wish the little rope was longer so I could tie it to the side of my pool. That is easily fixed, so its not worth taking a star away.

Duckie number TWO!

This is our second one. The first one lasted almost two seasons in an above ground salt water pool. Never faded and always accurate. You can throw it in across the pool even and it always goes up straight. We had no issues with it tipping on its side. I believe the first one would have lasted longer had it not been left under a pool cover for an extended period of time (15+ days while on vaca) when the pool was not in use. The heat of the direct sun on the cover probably overheated it. Ok...it DID overheat it- haha. The "steam" that came rushing out from under the cover when I uncovered the pool clued me in- lol- whoops! So this is a quality product thats why we ordered the exact replacement. Just dont leave it under a cover during the hottest part of summer for extended periods of time like we did- haha. It is also so darn cute! Everyone who sees it smiles and comments on it- it adds a little fun and a lot of cuteness to an otherwise boring product.

Who doesn't love a rubber ducky

Who doesn't love a rubber ducky ? This one in my pool brings me smiles. Accurate readings, easy to see, can easily attach to your ladder or free float. When the cover is on the pool this little guy stands straight so you get a thermometer reading of the h2o a few inches down rather than the top warm inch. Last one took about four years to fade its color out.

stays upright and is cute

I purchased a new floating pool thermometer because our old one was not floating upright anymore and was gross. This little guy is not only cute but floats and you can toss it in the pool, the thermometer sinks to upright itself. It's always easy to find too which is a nice plus.
