So far this is really working well for me. I don't print much, though. It may not be the best for everyone, but I love never having to shop for ink. Always before, I'd want to print a few pages, and then see that I was out of ink, have to stop and go pick it up, etc.. Now it just automatically comes in the mail. I just love it. I have one of the lower packages... I think maybe 100 pages a month with the option to add 50 pages if need be, for a very small amount. Or, I can carry over unused sheets from the previous month.

This is a $5 pre-paid card that is included for the printer bundle we bought at Amazon. The lowest HP Instant Ink plan is $0 for 15 pages per month. We are on that. That plan would charge you $10 for every 1 to 10 pages over the allotted 15 page per month limit. This month, we actually printed more than usual. We usually don't even print a page per day. So we spent $2 and still have $3 left. I think this HP Instant Ink idea is genius! It' convenient and it is green. Since each page after page 15 would cost you money - you would think twice printing - which is good for the Earth since less tree would be cut. Of course, sometimes printing cannot be avoided and that's when we print.

So I didn’t actually need the card to enroll but it would make a great teacher gift. Instant ink program is life changing if you do a lot of heavy ink printing (I’m a teacher)

This is a great investment. I don’t have to worry about running out of ink when printing. Ink is delivered to your house. I love it

This is a good idea for people who only do occasional or small print jobs. I bought my all-in-one primarily for the scanning feature, so I wasn't worried about the cost-per-page of printing. However, I had a 300 page / month free trial for three months, and the ink showed up before I needed it. If you are someone who prints bulk jobs (I am a teacher who prints 30 copies of everything), then buy a laserjet.

I enrolled in the 50 page program as HP Instant Ink always has your back. If you run over, they just add more pages automatically and send you an email to let you know. They always send an email to warn you that you are getting close to your limit too. Love them.

I read the reviews on HP Instant Ink and figured I would give it a try. I personally feel it is a great program. There is tons of flexibility, the cartridges arrive in plenty of time (for me) to replace the ink before it runs out.

The ink refill policy is the greatest deal I've ever found for printer ink. I used to have to continually replace cartridges (and they're not cheap)! Now I pay for only the ink I use as I use it. Now that I'm retired, I seldom print more than 10 pages at a time so it's a real cost-saver too. Good Idea, HP!

The concept is well known, but HP actually got this one right by monitoring ink capacity over the web makes production just-in-time, reducing inventory costs with real time information. And allowing account holders to roll over unused pages makes this service unbeatable at such a low price point. Not to mention, free ink delivery when you actually need it, free recycling, stocking up ink cartridges will soon be a thing of the past. This actually makes life better for humanity, no kidding. YAY! Keep reinventing HP!

When I got my HP printer, before I even set it up, I read carefully about the instant Inc. program. It says on the registration of your printer instructions, to register your printer within seven days, Then take advantage of the instant Inc. offer. Meaning choose whther you want 50 pages up to 300 pages per month. And the cost of each amount per month. Following the registration process, it was just a few days later, I received my welcome package from HP with my instant ink cartridges. The instructions told me to use all the ink already in my printer before installing the new cartridges. It would be then, that my pages per month would begin. I initially signed up for 50 pages per month, but during tax time I found myself using quite a bit more than that. After I got close to the end of my “rollover” pages, I received an email from HP stating just that. I was given the option to either upgrade my package (the amount of pages per month) that I wanted to pay for, or pay just $1 for every 10 pages I went over my “package” amount. So for my circumstances, I chose to upgrade my package, because it would’ve been less to upgrade then pay $1 per every 10 pages. I am so happy with this program, and after doing some cost comparison, it is cheaper in the long run, to say nothing about the convenience of having it shipped to your door before you need it, and more ink in each cartridge than buying it in the store, plus the recycling envelope (postage paid) for your empty cartridges. I LOVE this program, and if you’re reading this to decide if it’s something you might want to try, there’s NO contract, NO risk after the first purchase (under $10), so DO IT, I don’t think you will regret it.
