Great for "run-and-gun" iphoneography

This has become an indispensable tool for me. This allows me to keep shooting video or photos on my iPhone without using up all of my storage. I use the app to store directly to the drive! Great for "run-and-gun" iphoneography! When I'm ready to download the contents I shot, I plug this into a computer and it's a quick transfer. When I'm not using it with my phone, I'm using it with a computer or iPad - I can transfer any data off any device and transfer it to another device without any problems. (I use mac exclusively, so I don't know how a mixed platform scenario would work.)

Great idea!

I bought three of these for stocking stuffers. Have a similar flash drive in another brand for my own iPhone, but I like these better. Either way, if you have to deal with Apple's ridiculous policy of not including expansion slots for mini SD cards, then you need one of these! Aside from being able to dump excess files to free up onboard memory, it's reassuring to be able to back-up your pics and such. Plus it makes for an easy way to transfer files to your computer or other devices without involving iTunes.

This was purchased to save space on my iPad. After using it once, it no longer worked, neither able to play content nor mount on my computer. I contacted the manufacturer, who said that it must be defective, so I returned it, and order another one. This second one has been working great! It works like any external drive when plugged into a computer, with an icon appearing that can be opened, and media can be dragged and dropped within it. There is an app for the iPad that is required for this flash drive to be used with the device. But it's easy to use.

Great storage AND Fast Fast Charging

Love that this little gadget charges my phone faster than anything else I have ever used. It serves as a jump drive, too.

Works Well

Bought this for my wife's iPhone which had no available memory left. This works great for downloaded music and such. It was easy to load up and the software app seems to work well. A couple of suggestions though. It would be great if it had a pass through lightning port so that the phone could be charged while this is attached. Also I wish the magnet was a little more powerful to hold the folded position better. Other than that, works great. Nice design, too!

Works as promised!!!

Wow! I had tried for the last 3 days, to upload pictures and videos from my iPhone X to my Mac, and PC. So much trouble with timeouts and disconnects. With this, loaded iPhone app and plugged it into iPhone and magic, easy backup/transfer of files.

it felt like I was opening a jewelry box

Let me first start off with the packaging, design, and material. The USB came in a fancy little matte black box with padding inside, it felt like I was opening a jewelry box. The USB itself has a nice metal sleek feeling to it, cold and shiny and not that it matters too much but it is just an aesthetically pleasing flash drive on the outside. As far as functionality goes, the flash drive works perfectly fine, the only thing I wasn't expecting is that you need to download an app on your iphone in order to use this flash drive with it; which isn't a big deal because the app does make things easier to use, it was just unexpected, is all.

Best Flash Drive EVER

This is the slickest fastest way to either delete or transfer photos or movies you make from your ipad or iphone to your PC or MAC. I transfered more than 50 Gigs from both my devices with no fuss, no muss and not even a glitch. I did not have to format to get everything to take in the PC, and I am not even running a Windows 10, I am still running Windows 7. This is the greatest thing I have ever ordered for both my IOS Devices and PC. Well worth the money, worth the time to transfer everything and worth the satisfaction of a job well done.

Worth it's weight in gold!

This little gadget has saved my phone! After apple’s last upgrade, the IOS takes up 12 of my 16 gb leaving almost no room for apps and certainly not enough room for all my pictures. I removed every app I could and was still getting warning messages every time I opened my phone. I was already paying $.99 every month for cloud storage but that didn’t help with the problem on the phone. I synced my phone and removed all the pics I could but there were still apx 2,000 pics that I couldn’t remove without a warning telling me I was going to permanently delete them. Using this, I was able to load the pics onto it, transfer them to my computer, then delete them without worry.

Great product

Finally a safe and easy way to save the pictures on my phone and iPad. So easy to use! Planning on buying another for my parents.
