Comfortable and writes wonderfully!

The aluminum body on this pen makes a substantial item lightweight and well balanced. You can judge the size based on the penny in the photo. The ink cartridges are smooth and easy to write with. Also they have very good color. As for value, you can’t buy the refills that it comes with for the price. And the pen is great. I’m so glad I made this purchase.

Strong pen

I sue this pen for field work, recording notes, and orders on the fly. The pen writes well at many angles. The extra ink cartridges seem excessive as they don't seem to run out, but I am looking forward to having this pen for a long time.

Built for purpose and built to last.

Simply put, this is a pretty hard core pen. The tungsten glass breaker definitely looks the part (though I have no yet tried it out). Included 5 extra pen ink cartridge (can't imagine running out any time soon), and pen writes very well. It has a twist style pen, which I usually hate because invariably I end up twisting the pen in my hand when writing, causing it to recede back into the pen body. But this one has a clever little 'detent' when extending the pen that prevents that. Easy to grip when using gloves and could be a lifesaver if stuck in a vehicle. Built for purpose and does just what it says. Recommended.

Awesome Pen

Very cool pen love the way it writes. I'm not quite sure what the pointy thing on top of the pen is for I know that it's really sharp. Comes with 6 extra ink cartridges which is awesome. Very nice pen all together. It's definitely not light weight it actually has some weight to it heavier than a normal pen.

Awesome pen!

I love this pen! It’s not super light but feels very durable and I don’t mind a little weight. Writes very nicely, no trouble out of the box. It has a nice large clip on it that doesn’t feel like it will break with use like a lot of pens do. The top end has a point on it, so be careful! Self-defense would like this pen, that point would be good for poking stuff in defense. Black Ink with plenty of refills.

Pen is great!

Tactical pen is great for writing and glass breaking when needed, perfect to open boxes with as well when you do not have a knife on hand!

Great Tac pen, awesome price, better choice compared to 5.11 Tac pen. Nice Kit

The pen is well built, writes really well and it better suited for using as defensive weapon/glass breaker than 5.11 Tac pen. The DNA collector/glass breaker/tungsten point is always available while the pen part is a simple twist deal that locks into place. This doesn't have a Soviet bayonet type point as the 5.11does (once you screw it into place) the idea is to strike an attacker with the ported Tungsten DNA collector. A person being stabbed will generally go on the defense when they realize they have been stabbed. With the 5.11 pen you have to change the pen from ball point pen end to pointy end by unscrewing the barrel and rotating it and screwing in the bayonet point. With the Kepeak you can go from writing to thrusting as soon as you can make contact with your attacker. Great price, well built and more ergonomic. The only improvement I would make would be to add a "space pen" ink cartridge, with cost around $5.00 a piece. The 5.11 pen comes standard with the fisher space pen

Only Tactical for Windowbreaking

This is a great pen, it writes incredibly reliably on most surfaces and paper. It’s comparable to my Mont Blanc believe it or not. I like that there’s 6 extra refills and that the belt clip is removable. The only tactical aspect is the windowbreaking tip and I suppose that could be used for self defense as well. All in all, it’s 100% worth the cost and makes a neat gift. Everyone should have a pen in the car, and now they’ll have a window breaker too!

Great pen, well made, unbeatable value!

I ordered this pen yesterday through Amazon Prime and received it this morning. No frills packaging, cardboard box with pen in celephane sleeve and 6 refill cartridges loose in box. Machining, fit and finish on pen all look perfect! Weight, balance and overall feel are great. The clip is very heavy-duty and should keep the pen in my shirt pocket where it belongs. The replacement cartridges are identical to Parker Gel cartridges which are available anywhere. The pen tip extends and retracts very smoothly. I will update this review after I get some field experience with it on my job in construction.
