Okay y’all let me save you some headache. I spent like 2 hours working on hanging this up before I realized the smooth side faces the window pane. The directions were confusing. Xacto knife did not work well on this, scissors were better. Getting the transparent film off will be the bane of your existence. Looks cool once it is up though and definitely gives privacy! I love the look it has and that it is not permanent. So, overall definitely worth the investment!

Installed by myself in 10 or 15 minutes. Laid it out on the floor and sprayed the glass and film both with water mist from a spray bottle, then lifted it by the two top corners and walked it up the ladder, laid the wet surfaces against each other, and it clung instantly. It's easy to slide around and reposition while there's still water between the film and the glass. Used a squeegee to get all the bubbles out in minutes. Left it in place for a few weeks with direct sun exposure. Never bubbled or lifted. When it was time to remove I grabbed a corner and easily lifted it off the glass in one piece that I was able to carefully roll up for later reuse. Glass was clean when I pulled the film off too. Ordered a bunch more to us on a large conference room we will be having confidential meetings in. This stuff gives a very high level of privacy. You can't tell how many fingers someone is holding up when they are only a foot or two from the glass. Allows the light in with no apparent reduction. Highly recommended.

I have new Low E windows and was told I can't put any window film on them as it will void the warranty. So because I live on the bottom floor I had to find creative ways to get a bit of privacy. It added to the expense quite a bit but I had plexiglass cut for all the bottom half of my windows and put the film on it. This is what I did for one room which has large window. The film stuck on fabulously. It is easy to apply if you spray glass well with windex and then apply the film as you can move around and then squeegee the air bubbles out. I had no problem getting air bubbles out. It looks great!

Works. Theire are small air bubbles if you look really close, but i dont really notice them. You have to spray it with water for it to stick but theyve been on for over a month and dont seem to be going anywhere.

I used the window frost in the windows next to the front door. Now I'm going on to the slider in the lineving room. A shear curtain type fabric doesn't do it for me. Installation is a snap, first have a drink to calm the nerves, then give the glass a really good cleaning. Then measure twice cut once. Don't laughter, it took me hf a lifetime to do that. I cut the film slightly bigger than necessary as it does shrink slightly when drying. It's not as bad as putting up wallpaper 20 years ago. Back then I had 3 drinks before starting. This is a walk in the park compared to that.

I'm not really sure why people had issues installing this, mine went up in less than a half hour with no bubbles at all! I used a flat razor to scrape off any dirt or debris, windex to wipe off any dust, then liberally sprayed the film and the window with all purpose cleaner and trimmed the edges with a razor. Lets in a lot of light and no one can see inside! At night it is possible to see shapes and people moving through the film but they are very blurry. The 35.4 Inches x 8.2 feet was perfect for this window and has enough left over that another similar size window could be covered by piecing together the scraps.

I work grave yard shifts and sleep during the day half of the week. Unfortunately I have 2 small dogs that do not sleep during the day! One in particular spends her day on the back of the couch barking at anything and everything that may or may not be there. Now she can't see anything, my curtains can be open to let the light in the livingroom but I get to sleep in peaceful bliss! Next I might write a review on a natural dog antidepressant because she isn't as impressed with this purchase 😂

We've got skylights in our kitchen and bathroom and the sun would just beam down straight through them, especially the one in my kitchen when it was setting. This was normally right around dinner time and my island is directly under the skylight, so of course the sun was always in everyone's eyes. I wanted to do away with them all together but that's a project that required more time and money than I had so my husband ordered this in hopes to fix the issue and it has completely eliminated the bright glare from shining through. It was easy to apply with him and I both doing it together, and once it laid flat with some weight on it for a couple days it stuck very well and didn't peel off at the corners or lift up anywhere once applied. It's still on there now and has been so helpful to us. I definitely recommend.

The other films all have white pigment in them that makes it look cheap. This is a true translucent film that allows for your windows to display the color beyond them, this makes a big difference in my opinion because it provides more depth and makes the room feel larger. The white ones create a uniform white luminescent surface that is oddly jarring like looking at florescent overhead lights in an office.

I needed a privacy screen for my business door and after weighing some options I came across this frosted film window treatment. Due to Covid-19 I decided to remove the drapery that covered the door glass as it is the main entrance and most prone to being touched. Installation wasn't too hard, but depending on the size of the glass, two people is recommended. I took a picture of all the tools needed for the project as there aren't any included. The first time I wanted to install, I assumed it was self adhesive like some other plastic materials. Think of the window tinting process for this installation. Anyway, after some trial and error, the hubby and i got it on straight and virtually bubble free. There may be a some tiny bubble spots but hardly noticeable. It could be due to some particles that may have still been on the window. Anyway, if you want a little privacy, but still want light to shine thru, this is a good product. All in all I am satisfied.
