I’m a diabetic with an insulin pump and a glucose monitor that are inserted onto my skin for several days. This easily removes the tape residue left behind

Love this. It’s awesome to use to get the goop leftover from my Dexcom and tapes.

As you can see from my photos, I use the 14 day Freestyle Libre Blood Glucose Sensor. From everything I've read, I didn't even try to use it without additional adhesive. I chose the Skin-tac adhesive and the oval bandage. I tried removing them without a solvent which didn't go well. Then I tried alcohol. That was better, but I still had a few welts afterwards. Then I tried Goo Gone (GG) and I'm glad I did. I take a gauze pad and saturate it with GG. Then I saturate the covering bandage with the GG using the gauze. As the edges loosen, I use the saturated gauze to rub the edges towards the center. That removes the bandage with absolutely no discomfort. I continue until the bandage is off and then saturate the edges of the sensor. It takes longer for the GG to work on the sensor adhesive. When everything is removed, I wash the area with soap and water and I'm done. The second picture was taken immediately after washing my arm. You can see the circular red area of the sensor because I was a little impatient and didn't wait quite long enough for the GG to work completely. The photos are of different arms because I forgot to take a before photo of the removed sensor. The odor is minimal.

I use this product for removing the ostomy devices on my stomach every two or three days. It works great to melt away the glue and eliminates the associated pain.

After coming out of the hospital where they love to put tape and those little sticky things to monitor your heart all over your chest and arms after they take blood; I had glue all over my chest and arms which is indestructible to soap and alcohol. I know GOO GONE works great on taking away glue but I was afraid to use it near my incision. So I tried this figuring it was safe on skin and it worked GREAT !!!

My son wears an oxygen cannula on his face since he was a premie. This makes it less painful when removing the tape on a daily basis. I drop some on the q tip and wiggle under the tape and it’s pain free. Just make sure you don’t use it close to the eyes as directed

My husband had shoulder surgery and soap n water was not doing the trick even after multiple tries in the shower to remove the bandage adhesive. Purchased GooGone, came in the next day and before you know the sticky mess was gone. I wish i would have thought about it from the get go. Definitely worth having in the cabinet for any sticky situation. It’s not as oily as other reviews claim unless maybe they overused it. The scent is great.

Ok, so I just put this to work today and it is sooooo amazing I had to write a review immediately! My 19 month old son has to wear an eye patch for two hours a day and those patches hang on tight! I've been using coconut oil and baby soap to soak off the patch which gets the job done with minimal pain or irritation but it's messy and time consuming especially when my baby doesn't want to sit still which is understandable. I decided to give this a try because anything that could make this process easier for both my son and I would be a blessing. Although the product says to avoid the eye area I just made sure to be extra cautious in my application process. I put very, very little on a Qtip and applied it only on the perimeter of the patch adhesive. I did not saturate the patch, in fact I thought it wouldn't be enough to work but boy was I wrong!! Within less than a minute the bandage was releasing from my son's face! I ran the Qtip with the GG along the area where the patch met his skin and it lifted off with ease and absolutely no pain for my son! After the patch was off (which took less than 2 minutes) I used the Qtip to gently rub off the remaining residue on his face and it came off with almost no effort! I followed up by cleaning the area really well with mild baby soap and a washcloth and sent my boy on his way happy as a clam. This was the best $10 I've spent and with how little I had to use for it to be affective, it will more than pay for itself many times over! Get it, you WON'T regret it!

I wear orthotic inserts in my shoes. Recently, after surgery on my right foot, I found that the adhesive from the tape that was holding bandages in place got on the insert and would not come off. I tried every household cleaner I had and no amount of scrubbing helped. Goo Gone worked! It took a little "elbow grease" but my insert cleaned up nicely and looks good as new.

Goo Gone medical adhesive remover arrived 30 mins. ago. Used it as directed to remove all traces of medical adhesives after 5 day hospital stay. Had multiple 12 lead EKG sensors, IV ports, taped bandages over blood sample draws, etc. Extreme situation most won't encounter, so an excellent test. Hate the EKG sensors, they fall off when monitoring, but are tenacious in hanging on after leaving. Arms, chest and legs were covered after release. Tried, alcohol, detergents, baby oil... Considered turpentine but... Was left with these patches that stuck to clothing, bedding, and collected dead skin and whatnot looking like filth. Less than ten minutes to painlessly remove all traces, though a second swabbing was needed at one or two hairy spots. Washed off residue with warm soapy water....relief, feel and look human again. Price is very reasonable considering how little is necessary for a good job. Very likely an excellent choice in removing tapes and bandages from children by gentle lift and saturate method for painless peel. Add this to every home first aid kit.
