I'd recommend these for anyone who plans on walking 18. i was concerned about getting golf-specific shoes because they 1)are expensive and 2)they often look uncomfortable to wear while walking a whole course... these fit like normal running/tennis/athletic shoes, and we're about half the price of many of the other options. They're light, breathable(definitely not waterproof), and comfortable. I bought them along with a separate pair of inserts(which I'd recommend), and was able to comfortably walk 18 without having to break them in and without getting any hot spots.

I have purchased golf shoes that are triple the cost of theses and have been disappointed. The first time I wore them, they felt very still as I walked with them. The next couple of times I rode in a golf cart. The cleats are designed to hold the ground and the overall stability of the golf shoe gives support. As of today's date, I have walked with them a couple of more times and feel that I am breaking them in. Still a little stiff, but there is no arch/foot pain with these. If I am able to break them in, they just may be a great bargain. This is my final (September) update. I have increased my rating from 3 to 5. These shoes took a little time to break in, but they are very comfortable for walking. I have other shoes that I rotate, and these are the most comfortable golf shoes I have worn for walking since I purchase several years ago a pair of FJ DNA's. I still have the latter, but only wear them occasionally because I don't want to wear them out. It is late in the year, but these shoes would be worth an investment. I will be checking out price drops myself!

First use of these was walking Augusta National for the par 3, round 1, and round 2. Incredibly comfortable, and did great in the wet conditions (if you watched, you know it rained) and dried quickly. Great golf shoes.

Love, love, love these shoes. I've been golfing 38 years and have gone through more than a few golf shoes. These shoes, by far, are the most comfortable yet! Easy on/off too. They are light and the grip is just right. I'm very pleased with these shoes and I expect they'll wear well. I do not expect them to be waterproof but I haven't experience any issues playing in morning dew. I convinced you'll be pleased if you get these shoes.

I have feet that have been abused by years of violent sports and wearing shoes in general can be tough for me. Traditional golf shoes are a killer after just a few holes. These shoes are fantastic to my feet. I've worn them one time and there was no break-in needed. the width - wide - was great, my toes weren't crying as they normally do when they get put into shoes, and there was no heel irritation from rubbing against my skin. They are a 100 out of 100 on my rating scale.

These golf shoes are extremely comfortable. I own three pairs, White - Black - Silver (Iron). They fit a little narrower than you would expect. The first pair I owned wore out where the little toe meets the material - I went with a wide version this time and can tell already that the fit is better. I also must say the color and workmanship looked better on my second pair than the original adidas Men's Tech Response Golf Shoes too. Time will tell if they prove to be as good as this review!

I was looking for a shoe in the $50-60 range because I only play once or twice, at most, a month. I also wanted a shoe with soft spikes because I believe spikeless shoes would only last a couple seasons before you'd start to slip, some. These shoes are not only very comfortable but are wonderfully stable and offer great traction! The only other issue would be how long will they last but only time will tell.

I've read a lot of reviews that refer to these as very narrow. I have wide feet and normally wear a EEE size in New Balance. I was almost tempted to go one size up but instead elected to order the Wide version of my size 10. And they fit wonderfully! I just played my first 18 holes in them and I love them. The rest of my foursome of knuckleheads noticed right away and said the shoes looked cool but were quick to ask if my wife dressed me. This is my second pair of Adidas golf shoes and cannot be happier, escpecially for the price. These are a steal and look more like athletic/trail shoes with replaceable spikes on the bottom. Highly recommended

This golf shoe is great for someone who is looking for shoes without breaking the bank, or those just getting started in golfing. I bought these shoes because I started golfing a lot and was sick of slipping down hills and spending the next 2 hours with half of my white shirt and tan khaki's covered in a questionable brown color. My friends are avid golfers and they all had golf shoes and never seemed to slip, plus I noticed when driving the ball I would feel some slight sliding in my normal athletic shoes when my balance was shifting with the force of the swing (probably don't have great swing mechanics, but nvm that). I decided to look for a pair that would fit my budget and big feet (size 14). I looked everywhere online and in store, and the vast majority of golf shoes were at least $100 minimum. Being a new golfer, I didn't know how often I would use them, or if I would even like them over the comfort of my normal athletic shoes. I finally found these adidas golf shoes and worried that the price being nearly half of most shoes I saw would mean they wouldn't serve their main function. However, I was wrong. These golf shoes were extremely comfortable, gripped into the courses like crazy (have not fallen or slipped once since I got them!), and were ridiculously cheap for how well they worked. These are perfect for what I needed and they look great! In my searches I saw some shoes that claimed to be waterproof which would be nice, where these shoes are not, but to spend somewhere around $150 or so for water resistant shoes seems crazy to me when I would wear them for a max of maybe 4 hours 1-3 times a week, and gold courses are typically not seen to have millions of huge puddles laying around. Get these golf shoes, trust me. (Unless you find yourself always having tons of excess money to blow on products that might not function any better, of course).

So far so good. Disclaimer I have worn them on the golf course yet, but I have tried them on, walked around a bit, and hit some balls in my back yard. I also bought and tried a pair of the Nike Explorer 2 golf shoes. First off I will say that these Adidas are much more comfortable. The Nike’s are hard and rigid and as a result they are not very comfortable. The material used in these Adidas is much softer and flexible around your foot and as a result they are a lot more comfortable. As far as appearance they both look great, but I’m more partial the look of the Adidas with the 2 different materials that they have on the outside which appears to be real or fake leather and a lightweight mesh where as the Nike’s have a fairly hard plastic/rubbery type material that they used for the entire outer part of the shoe except for the sole and the interior. These Adidas also have 6 traditional plastic spikes plus a bunch of small rubber knobs, ridges, and other shapes similar to a traditional cross trainer. The Nike don’t have any plastic or metal spikes and the entire sole is covered with various rubber ridges and pyramid shaped rubber more like a cross trainer or hiking shoe. As far as traction the Adidas had good traction when I hit a few balls in my back yard but I wasn’t able take a full swing with my short irons or hit my driver or long irons at all because I don’t have enough room without hitting my neighbors house so I can’t say how well the traction is when taking a full swing. I expect the traction will be good.
