Direct replacement

Perfect replacement for my stock plastic extruder. Now my printer works

Fantastic Upgrade for Creality Printers! The stock plastic extruder is terrible...

I installed one of these on both my Ender 3 Pro and CR-10S and will never use the stock extruder again! It is a direct bolt-on replacement and took less than 10 minutes to install. If you look at your current plastic feed hole, you'll see a groove where the filament is fed in which causes underextrusion. Since installing I have had 0 issues and the tension feels perfect. I highly recommend this upgrade for any of the Creality series of printers (except for the CR-10S Pro which uses a different extruder style).

Simple replacement for better quality

Really simple replacement from the original plastic extruder. The alignment for the filament into the Bowden tube is perfect and much easier to feed. Also, the teeth on the feed gear are slightly deeper than the original.

Awesome upgrade

I wish I had bought this sooner to upgrade the plastic extruder on my 3d printer. After switching it over to this metal one my prints are coming out better and honestly my printer just looks cooler now. It was fairly easy to install and it has been working great for me.

Great extruder!

I upgraded my original Creality Ender 3 extruder with this extruder and it works great! When the package first arrived, I noticed there were no assembly instructions, but it wasn't complicated to assemble. I just noted the screws that I removed from the old extruder and matched them up with this one, so it really wasn't an issue at all. This extruder is manufactured out of aluminum and the original is only plastic, so that is a nice upgrade. Also, with my original extruder, the filament did not align correctly, but I noticed with this extruder, the filament aligns perfectly. The teeth on this extruder drive gear are a little deeper than the original. All in all, this is a great extruder at a great price!

Awesome. Get these WITH the printer!!

I didn’t think we needed these when we got the 3D printer.... wrong!! We kept having problem after problem. The only benefit was getting to know the machine more intimately. These upgrades made the printing more effective and less troublesome! It was so much easier to go from file to print.

The Bushing Is A Nice Touch

Besides the obvious aluminum body over plastic, there was one improvement I wasn't expecting. The original plastic arm needs lubricant over a large surface area to deal with the friction between it and the main body where as this one has an anodized aluminum bushing set in the powder coated arm. This bushing extends every so slightly beyond the arm. A few drops of sewing machine oil around the bushing and its friction free. The bushing was a nice touch.

Good product, better price!

Easy to install and a good cheap upgrade. I've seen a few of the negative reviews but I can say I am pretty pleased with my results.
