Regret that I bought this product too late this winter

Regret that I bought this product too late this winter, because I have undergone all types of toil and torture with my old splitter to prepare for my fireplace. With this new one, everything seems so easy. The blade is sharp and tough and structure is firm and steady. For most types of hard wood, splitting is only a piece of cake.

Makes splitting wood a breeze.

Product works extremely well (and it is very safe), but two things to keep in mind. 1) It really needs to be bolted to a bench or stump so that it is stable and at a good height for working. 2) You have to hit the wood to be split with the hammer directly above the point of contact between the wood and the blade. If done right, splitting is quick and easy.

Much safer way to split kindling!

This is great product. I am able to chop up 2x4s without a hassle. Way better than using a hatchet. I would recommend this to everyone.

Easy to operate

Chopping wood with this product is as simple as eating. Chopping wood is no longer a skill. Ha ha. It's also safer. There will be no dust flying around.

Excellent product

Great product. I mounted it to a large round and it splits wood great. My wife tried to add her thumb to the kindling, so this solution is great for keeping hands away.

Haven’t used it yet but it’s solid, heavy and incredibly sharp!!
